I can't believe I found a comment section 10x dumber than youtube and worldstar combined... How can people spending the money they owned on a hobby be worth calling them names and saying they should be killed? I understand loud stereos can be annoying to some people but personally I don't care. My neighboors have a decent system and play frequently at anytime of the day or night and I for one don't care at all, I even listen and try to find out what song it is by the bass LOL. (not pointing fingers here or anything) But why do car audio hobbyist receive so much abuse when people purposely make their mufflers loud and rev their engines or gear low so that they are always loud, that is worse than bass in my opinion. Everyone has their idea of what's right/wrong and annoying/acceptable, but saying someone's hobby should get them killed or why do that when kids are starving is fucking ridiculous. This world is a big pile of shit about to hit the fan and I'm just happy the 2nd amendment is highly celebrated where I'm from.

My friend bought two 12" DC subs in a custom made box from some local guy on Craigslist. The seller said they were level 3's and the box was 3 Cu. Ft tuned to 33hz. The box sounds just right for level 3's but is there a way to distinguish what level a DC sub is by looking at the motor/basket so we can confirm what he has?
DurDurDur Edit: I reckon an easy way to tell would be to measure the mounting depth and/or put one of the subs on a scale and weigh it.

Still stuck at the house with no car which means my long anticipated new system is just sitting in my room for at least another 3-4 weeks. Saw this a day or two ago and laughed my ass off the whole time. Reminded me of the time I caught my knuckle on the edge of a tiger-paw when I was cleaning up one of my welding coupons, went right through my welding glove and about 2/16ths of the skin before I knew what happened. My brother showed me this guy when I asked for some heavy instrumentals to CHUGGACHUGGA to. Someone should add some bass drops in the pauses or something or right before the guitar kicks in.

Ordered an XL 15" along with an amp in the middle of May. Got my tracking number today for my sub, was told my amp should ship monday August 1st (if I remember correctly). I hope this keeps some of yall up to date!! Thanks DC

Idk how popular this song is where everyone else lives but around here this shit gets girls crazy and its always playing in the club. The first drop is a decent scare if people don't know the song, then the beat gets fun IMO.

Anyone have any news? Preferably someone from the DC community. My sub should be built sometime this week so hopefully I'll see a truck in my driveway within a week or two. Will be the happiest time I carry a 60 pound package

Sounds subpar and shit song in my opinion. Bass is meh. The singers in the start of the song are terrible too.

There is a program online called iDoser or Idosing or something that has a bunch of sound tracks that supposedly get you "high" if you lay on your back in the dark and play the song with headphones. I tried it in highschool when I was always looking to get high, nothing but a bunch of placebo reactions if you ask me. Their tracks are named after the high you're supposed to achieve, everything from marijuana to cocaine and so forth. Playing certain notes at very high volumes could possibly create a 'high', I wouldn't doubt if the government ain't discovered it looking for that notorious brown note haha
