yeah ive been looking around the only thing is i dont have a paypal ( not 18 yet

Nothing wrong with the hifonics brz series, i think it'd be perfect for an aq hdc3.
Yea it would move it but, he might be able to get a decent true 2k amp, if he can get a good deal on a used amp that's what I'd do.

Thought about them yes, i just dont want to pay the extra money for aeros when i can have a slot port that works just as well.
I agree their is nothing wrong with slot ports.... But you're kind of pressed for space and using aeros should be able to gain you quite a bit... Just a suggestion, you can use pvc pipe to save money and works exactly the same.

Thats what im thinking, to be honest i dont think it will fit in my trunk any other way. Ill be intergrating the spare tire well to get the most cuft i can out of this trunk and still be able to move air well. Im hoping for 7.5-8 cuft net.
Have you thought about aeroports?

I know, i wouldnt have gotten one in the first place, this actually used to be my dads car and it only had 1 alpine type x 10" in it. The only reason i kept the capacitor is that it worked well for running my powers and grounds, didnt need to rewire the whole car.
Oh gotcha, Hey if your broke they make a decent distro block I've had to do it before. You going to do sub up to the port side again?

Well, ill probably make a little amp rack, and ill be switching out the capacitor for a Kinetik 1400 (Just got it yesterday)

Sounds awesome, tightest and most accurate subwoofer iv ever heard, i was very suprised at first, it also gets pretty loud

Actually in the testing that i have done ( this was with the older 1200d ( 2400d now), 2 1200ds strapped was louder by .7 than a single 2500d on 12v. I dont know if its the same way but some food for thought!
Hmmm I wonder if the 1200s would draw less power/amps also? idk it seem it might.??

if you look under bridging and strapping you will see the only models that are listed are the 1200 and 2400. Your model is a d5000 or ( 2500d) which is not listed there. Not mad or upset just a complete ass sometimes

Whoa chill out. It says the 2500D is not strappable I didnt know my amp was the same because it does'nt refer to my amp inparticular. This is the reason for my post. I was'nt arguing with you, I did'nt think you would take it that way.

be careful with the orions. the older model 2500ds were supposed to be strappable and it almost always ended with smoke.
So it's probably best to just to run them seperate and not strap them? I dont need fried shit.

As for box building its really easy . just get a design and cut sheet off of someone here and get homedepo to cut it for you then all you need it a screw gun / drill screws and glue . a few clamps wouldn't hurt either
^^^^^^This then take it to an audio shop or woodworking shop to get your sub holes cut.
