Ok its an orion d5000 its wired at 1ohm and there dual1ohm subs ill double check again to make sure a wire or somthing isnt loose but it would have be inside the box i couldve overlooked it maybe

Oh i should prob add that it seems like the subs are moving the same. Silly q but Could they just go out of phase randomly? Im not a noob.lol i just dont know everything

Well all setting are the same i messed around with my amp but set everything back were it was before. My hu is the same and just pulled my speakers out at the car wash cuz it was raining.lol but all things are the same its kinda wierd. Btw i do all my installs myself i know my equipment top to bottom and im just stuck

I have 2 hdc312s and they were sounding fine for the first couple of weeks. Well i havent changed a thing and i was riding down the road bumpin and i restarted the song i was playing and then my lows sounded totally differnt. What i mean by that is they wernt near as loud and sounded a little differnt. It is a big difference. I have checked everything and now im clueless plz anyone with suggestions plz help i am getting my soundstream bx-20z tomorrow by fedex and want to get to get this solved today. Thanks in advance

No the alternator does have a ground wire it gets grounded by the engine. And any positive or negative terminal on the batt can be used as long as its the right one

Yea thats why i said usually. I would think the only time bass boost should be used is if you know exactly what your doing. But i diddnt know you had two amps i would say your voltage is dropping mine was dippin real loww like 10.2 low at times tobe exact. Thats some ish.lol but i just did the big three and put a deep cycle under the hood and my voltage dropping is not near as bad. This is on a 90 amp alt.

Idk exactly why bass boost is not usually a good thing but i personally dont ever use it. If i was you i would turn the bass boost off and if you dont get the output you want from your subs then try and adjust your gain on the amp or even your hu. But i personally wouldnt go over 70-75% on the amp gain max.

I have 2500 rms and this is going in a trunk car i have 40w 16 25d to play with. I need some help plz. Thanks in advance
