    Well I was talking with a friend yesterday and he said too look these mid/Highs up (http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-362 , http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-422) so I did. The first thing I noticed is the price there pretty cheap, now i'm no "Expert" but the specs look pretty good for the price etc? The next thing is that there is no Crossover for the Speakers and tweets? How would i go about fixing that buy one from someware? if so what and ware? I'm so lost... :peepwall:

    I got this one, I usually don't buy from crutchfield but this one comes with the wiring kit and dash kit specifically for your car. I already have one but I kept it for a extra. Anyway, I love this unit except that the CD player skips when I hit around 144db. As for the CDE-123 I haven't had it but it looks to be a good unit. Good luck :drinks:

    Why not order from crutchfield? and Yeah that looks like a great deal! i was also wondering would alpind speakers sound better with a alpine speakers/amp viceversa :pardon:

    I was currently looking at a new H/U the ALPINE CDE-123. From what I can see its a pretty nice H/U... Any one know any thing about it? it would be my first Alpine deck also, I hear they make fantastic audio products. I just wanted to know what the SMD community thought :drinks: Thanks for the help guys!.

    Edit: Any one know when it clips? does it have a Low/Hi pass filter? can I hook up two amps to it?

    good point Big. Maybe like a 1500w rms amp would be good if you were thinking of expanding your system but if nothing else you could run 2 of these amps on 3 L7's or 1 DC XL 15 right?

    Three L7s? what about 2? could I "strap" the amps some how? :shrug:

    If youre thinking about upgrading later a bigger would be great to have already.

    This is true.. i was thinking about another L7 down the road or maybe a DC XL 15.... but that would be in like awhile.. Job situation is on the Fritz lol <_<
