this^^^^From what I have read, the MA is more of an SPL driven sub whereas the VVX is more orientated towards SQ.

no one can give you an exact measurement man. Cuz no one has your exact install,,,,plus it will go up or down with voltage fluctuation and box rise. An approximation is the best your gonna get without buying one and clamping it yourself.

Much respect broi NEVER smelt coil when breaking in my VVXs. My guess is that your clipping, and if your using the amp in your sig, its certainly the guilty party. And I had a bc2k at .5 out of the gate on mine, so power wasnt the issue
The amp can put out clean power.Sure its not as good as some brands but it does nearly rated and it does it clean. And for $120 shipped I cant complain so far. I bought my kid a ton of christmas presents instead of a better amp.
And like others have said.....normally if it's immediate it is probably just some excess glue

some people just say F it lol. I ran my sundown 3500 for a minute there at .25The amp will play all day at .5 ohm just like other quality amps. Doesn't mean they will be warrantied though because most people that run it at .5 don't have the electrical and then once it pops expect a brand new amp. LOL not gonna happen

I have great electrical in my car (320 AMP DC Power alt, XS Power 3100 up front, 3 more batts in the back, 3 runs of 1/0 B+ and Ground) and I still wouldn't run it at .5, just for the fact it is a 1500 dollar amp...No thanks. I'll buy two and run them strapped at 2 ohm before going .5 and piss away 1500 bucks. lol
You also have to account for rise......you could end up having a ton and the amp would have been just fine. Depends on the setup though like always
