thats what i was thinking them subs like it at around 36-38.... i am currently building a box for these same subs but i got it tuned to around 35-36. right now i have them in a box thats tune to 39-40 its ok but im building a new one to tune lower. good subs by the way what wattage do u have urs at, cause mine are on 500wrms and they make a popping sound when i go 3/4 to full tilt. ive had up to 2k on these subs and they took it with no problem.. post a vid of the sound and see if someone could figure it out..not the best at diagnosing a problem without being there but someone could prolly give suggestions ok i will see if my camera can pick it up tomorrow.

I have 2 AQsdc2.5 15's and the dimensions are 38"Wx30"Dx17"H. I would like the tuning at 32hz and i have a 1999 ford contour.

I am wanting to do a rebuild with my new AQ sdc2.5 15's and need a little help with designing a box. Anybody on the forum intersted in helping a fellow basshead out?

No there are enough spaces and voids on the trunk, deck, and back seat that allow the pressure into the cab of the car. it will just put more air movement through the car and not straight out of the side of the trunk.

id be verrry careful if you put spray foam where the weather seal is if you put too much it could warp it then it will be raining in your trunk. Could I use dynamat on the trunk lid where the weather seal sits?

hey there guys I have a trunk car system and i have put sound deadener on my trunk lid, on my license plate and i have also put expansion foam inside the trunk lid, but yet i still rattle like a mother and it is coming from he trunk. Any ideas on what to do to remove or dampen the rattle? thanks in advance for the help.

I have been running street wires zn9 series for awhile now and never had a problem.

And hits pretty good on some songs and sounds bad on most. i had a buddy design it and i juta put it together Sorry to say but that box design is junk for those subs. 8cubes NET is the smallest I'd do, 8.5-9 is better with 16^2 port per cube. You're around 10^2 per cube if you're lucky and it's tuned way too low. If you give me your max dimensions I'll see if I can come up with a better design that will fit. How much power do you have? max dimmensions are 38Wx17Hx40D and at 2ohms i can run 500rms to each and at 1ohm i can run 750rms to each.

the specs are 38"Wx17"Hx29"D and by my measurements and using a online calculator it shows that my slot port is at 27hz.

I just installed 2 aq sdc2.5 15's and I am wondering if it would be better to leave the back seat down or o put it back up? the box is tuned around 27hz and is firing forward.

Hey SMD forum people I have recently gotten two AQ 15's and i have a custom box that is tuned at 28 hertz. I am looking for some good songs with some low hertz. I might post up some vids of some of the suggestions.

port layout port is fully constructed Subs installed deciced on doing bolt terminals got them in the trunk! I Had 3/4 of sheet left. what to do with it? I know build an map rack! her are the pics Hifonics HFI1500d(subs) Kicker 550.2 on the fronts. (temporary) Amp rack installed! Stay tuned in next week i get my 2nd battery and 0 gauge wire! also hopefuly some vids of flex and excursion! Hope you enjoyed it.
