  1. Ok, so if I am looking for a battery in trunk, then I should look for a blue battery since I will have a main one under the hood. If I am looking for a main battery, with no extra 1 in the back, then I should buy a red one.
  2. Is there a difference in the red and blue XS Power and Kinetik batteries? Im looking at one for the trunk of my car. The Kinetik batteries are 1400 Amps at the same price as an XS Power battery that is 500 CCA. Does that mean the Kinetik batteries have more CCAs per money or are the Kinetik batt amps different from CCAs?
  3. The battery up front is a 550 CCA battery, about 6 months old. The connection problem was with my old alternator, when I put the new one in about 3 months ago, the problem dissapeared. So.......should I get an extra battery in the back, or get a new, big battery up front, like a Yellow Top, XS Power, or Kinetik battery? Either get a big, new one under the hood, or keep what I have and add an extra in the back, something around $150 bucks.
  4. an AQ2200D, just switched it with my Crescendo BC2000d. So about 2kw with big 3 and 1/0 guage wire. I swear that BC2000D was more powerful than the Audioque AQ2200d
  5. I just purchased a 93 CBR600 F2 last week and love it. I only have issues with the spedo not working, temp guage not lighting up, and finding a headlight. It has race fairings and has no lights. Anyone have any pointers/things to watch out for/opinions about the bike? How did you like yours, if you had one? Also, let me know how you like it!
  6. So I replaced my alt about 3 or 4 months ago, my lights would dim, my radio would shut off and turn on and off and on, etc. I used to be able to grab the + connection under the hood and it would start charging back up, but that stopped working once it completely went out. Once I replaced it, it was fine, up until a few days ago. I was sitting at a light, playing my music, and my radio shut off and turned back on. It's getting more frequent, but my lights arent as dim as they used to be with my old problem. Well from what I guess, my voltage regulator is failing again, or the whole alt is not able to keep up with my system. I should have gotten an AGM battery for the back, but I spent my money on a bike (CBR 600 F2) . Anyone have any ideas on if it is the voltage reg? I guess ima take it back to autozone and get another one since I have a lifetime warranty.
  7. So I just got my AQ2200D after replacing it with my BC2000D Crescendo amp. Needless to say, it seems like the BC2000D was more powerful. I have my gains set correctly so that it is not clipping, have the bass boost all the way up but it seems like it doesnt have as much power as my Crescendo amp. Does anyone have any opinions or is this a possibility that it should be the same amount? Its on a AQ HDC3 15".
  8. Im interested in the amp, PM me for shipping + cost to 27606
  9. I was wondering if anyone would mention this. Using a mater would only tell you your peak spl, not necessarily your box tuning. My ok old setup peaked at 51hz but the box was tuned to 35hz or something. This is pretty much the same situation I am in. Maybe ill just take the 10min and write down the measurements of my box, but it wont be exact.
  10. He knew what he tuned his box to, per his first post. He is asking of a way to verify... Thank you for actually listening. I used the Torres calc to build my box, but after shortening a port wall, I am not too sure on how close it is to what the original calc said it was. I have used a sine wave program on an Iphone and it worked pretty well. The program had a "dial" on the screen and you could turn it clockwise/coutner clockwise to change the frequencies. Using this, I could figure out which Hz was the "loudest" to my ear and could tell a rough estimate of what it was tuned to. Thank you for confirming this. I wanted to know if there were any other ways. PS. Is it possible to use a Iphone/Ipad to see my DB's? Some type of app to see what my SPL score would read.
  11. I want to tell what my box is tuned at/what hz it peaks at without buying TermLab or anything expensive. I wanted to know if there was a Ipod/Iphone App or a computer program to do this. I have a 2nd gen Ipod Touch and IBM (Lenovo) T61 laptop if that helps. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was just curious what my box is actually tuned to, because when I made the box I tried to make it tuned to around 36-42 hz.
  12. Gotcha, So if I got a Shuriken battery for the trunk and kept the one up front would it cause any problems?
  13. Im with you scfaust, just tryin to get some information from here and some people just talk you down. I dont have much pointers but I would maybe mess around with baffles and try to get some smoother air flow/sanding some edges.
  14. What is a LA battery? So if I got a Shuriken battery for the trunk and kept the one up front would it cause any problems?
