The thicker wire is the 1/0, and the skinnier wire is the 4AWG. You basically connect all the positives together, and then all the negatives together
thanks so much!
Don't forget fuse after first battery, another before the second battery, then one on each positive from the rear battery before the amps.
Dont mean to thread jack, but where is the grounding points in that little diagram? It Just seems like the grounds are going from battery to battery then to amps? Shouldnt you ground them babies to metal somewhere?
Grounding to batteries is actually the most reliable source. Be sure all crimps/solders are perfect.

Very nice, I will take 6 please

that overlay is pretty cool

Thanks everyone. As for the Yellow top I will keep it until more money comes around lol...spent a small fortune on my alt, amps, and batts.
-
Yea I was going to say, I would get one more HC1800 and you should be good. That is a lot of alternator. It will be able to keep the charge up on all 3 of those batts easily I would think.
That's what I like to hear! Thanks!

That seems pretty good. That a big alternator.
Maybe one more good battery.
Should I get another HC1800 to match? That should be plenty of reserve for daily...

I have a DC Power 320a HP on the way
Big 3 is done with Monster Cable 1/0
Amps will be Rockford Fosgate T2500bd, and T1000.4
Total rms around 4500.
Front Battery Optima Yellow Top
Rear Kinetik HC1800
This setup will be daily use and possibly a few small burps.
If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to post and give me ideas. Thanks, Justin.

if the price is right i'll grab one.
I will grab a few if the price is right, I am sure there are people willing to buy them where I am.

This is a must have tool, I can't wait to get one, keep the info coming.

I have had knu and I CURRENTLY run all MONSTER CABLE 1/0 400 series...Local shop that sells Kicker/Knu 1/0 was shocked at how thick and durable the Monster Cable is. I suggest searching ebay for a great price on actual copper wire rather than the cheaper Knu, but if you buy the good knu thats fine...but not the cheap stuff. If you would like pics of the wire I can show you how confident I am in it. I have over 100' of the 400 series in my GXP, for about $230...thats a good price for 1/0 in my book.

PM shipped to 49931 please. Thanks

Looks like finding a T4k will be difficult, going to make an additional post about my alternative of a T2500bdCP. Please anyone willing to sell either, pm me or post here. I am highly interested and ready to purchase.
-
would you interested in a t20001bd ?
Yes and no, you see I already have 2 T1500bdCP's, pm me a price though, I really like all RF amps and collect them. Looking for the affordable king, T4k
-
I'll look at my three and decide within the next couple hours. Would you prefer a pm here or personal?
If you could please email me or send a pm on here, email is [email protected].
Either way I anticipate your answer
-
By the way thanks for the activity so soon
-
And I tried "liking" your comment, LOL
Would you be willing to sell off 1? Pretty please I understand why you would want to keep them, I am just trying to get a piece of history in my ride to bump my T2's

Hi, I am looking for a Rockford Fosgate T4000.1bd, I prefer perfect working condition, some exterior flaws are fine as we all know it happens. Will consider blown or need to be repaired amps if at a good price. Please email me if I do not respond within 3 hours. Email is [email protected]
If local, payment can be made in cash, if not I would prefer we arrange a deal via some online merchant with paypal, I have a verified paypal account. Thanks for looking,
Please post offers or email me for best result. -Justin

You are right that you dont have to, but If you plan on running a lot of power I recommend connecting batteries in parallel. Seriously, if you are going big, just do it right the first time.
