looks nice, but large. you could fit SA-10's in 9.6 cubes easy. and from the looks of it, you've got the surface area to do it as well.
Thanks, the reason I choose the SA 8 v.2 is because of the long-throw design and sexy look of the motor.
I really want to invert them which is why they are staggered like that, so the motors would take up the area that is free in the diamond.
Idd make the box a bit smaller or drop the power
Another option is 12 sa8v2 is the same box
I've been doing heaps of research on these and most say 14sqin of port per sub at 0.6cuft on 600rms
I'm in the same boat still trying to finalize my final design
If you mdl it you'll find @ 34hz you'll get a higher db above 50-80hz by 1db
If you after a flat curve for 8 of them
Look at 3.9cuft net @ 34.2hz
Thanks for modeling that for me, I was debating doing 12 of them which would be cool but I dont think I could make it work the way I want it to, I will have to look into the options of 8/12/16... I may send you a pm for some help if you dont mind.

on a side note, how do you plane to fit them all in, ive got the same car but a few models up,(Walkinshaw equipped 2012 hsv E3 r8 supercharged 6.2l, 650hp) and without removing the spair tyre or losing a tone of power, due to weight, im stuck at only 2 of theis bad boys. and with only a small box ive noticed a huge drop in et times
I gave up on the ET times for a while to suit this hobby and removed everything behind the B-pillars. Honestly, if you want some bump and keep moving in a straight line you can't go wrong with 2 of them.

This wall will be a ported Diamond tunnel with exactly 16 square inches of port per cube tuned @ 35hz, 9.618 cubes net after all displacements.
Equipment will be:
8 - SA 8 v.2's
2 - RF T40001bd's strapped @ 2 ohms
-
ground for amp has to be short and clean also
-
normally I would say if you have to ask, but truthfully .67 nominal will be fine with the extra battery assuming you have 100% clean grounds and keep the power clean.

Have him email me at [email protected] please.

Pm'd and thanks again...if what I read is correct I will not be a fan of Iasca rules...
-
The website will not allow me to download the rule books for any event in any browser even while logged in...could some one find me a copy of the iDBL rule book please.
-
Well if you are looking to do 15's I will be selling my SA's soon enough. I just bought 4 Sundown Z's to put on my 2 RF T40001bd's strapped at 2ohms.

Just like DRC said it really depends if you need every ounce of space or not. Look at my build log and see kinda how I went about it. Build log is in sig by the way.
I def like the way that box looks aha, esp with the big all thread bar through it ! got any numbers with it yet or not yet?
Day 1 numbers were 148.9...a few weeks ago after some tweaks and sealing off the sides of the wall from the trunk I did a 151.8 burp. Will do a 150.3 on music.

How would 4 sundown SA 12's dual 4's sound in a 2003 impala on 2 AQ3500's or should i get 2 nightshade v3 15's which will hit harder for daily street pounding
go to my build in my sig to see my 4 SA-15's in my Grand Prix

Awesome, can't wait to see more...your build is what made me decide to build in my GP

I was lacking the extra 15k to buy a G8 when I bought my GP GXP but I have drove my uncles G8 GXP and I tell you this...if you have the money for the GT or GXP buy them! Amazing quality car...not only that but it has oodles of power. After my bolt on mods and tuning I run 298hp at the front wheels...the G8 GT and GXP spank that stock at the rear...I really wish I had more money to buy one...
-
I vote 4 - SA-15's I have them and was incredibly impressed with what they can do musically...especially on double rms...not recommended unless you know what you are doing.
-
Haha never heard of a1000-4ADbd CP....that be sick! Well if they dnt they shud now...hahaha I'll keep a lookout
The T1000-4AD is a Constant Power amp.
-
Honestly I wouldnt ask around so much as do RESEARCH...everything I have learned is from reading multiple forums and how to guides...also watching pros do work...and in the end it is better to do everything right the first time...
