PM sent, nice sale.

I am incredibly excited for this unit to come out...I will be sure to purchase it right away...

Fast shipping, great price, and best of all was the communication. Will buy from him again.

I say v8, my buddy dropped an ls4 6.0 into his blazer and set it on 1-tons but that was a pain in the ass for a 4x4. Keep the 2wd and do your v8
agreed! small correction, it couldn't be the ls4, that was a 5.3, or could refer to a 454 . The 6.0 you speak of was likely a badass Ls2

SOLD! Thanks for looking...

No offense intended but different ports won't help your cause nearly as much as more VOLUME! 2.18 is fine if you are running a Fi BTL 12...but as for a 15 you need about 1ft^3+ more to achieve good output. I would suggest building a new enclosure in excess of 3 cubes and sticking to the slot port. Then add your 45's, glass, etc. You won't regret it. If you pm me your max dimensions I will whip up a design for you. Be sure to tell me how you want it tuned, port location, and woofer direction. Thanks, Justin.

Good idea to play with designs for now, you will need more port area. I have 2 -12's with a interchangeable port, tested a port with 11in^2/ft^3 and found it to be 4db lower than 13.5in^2/ft^3. Proper tuning is a huge difference.

Do you still have the the install disc that comes with it?
Yes, sorry I forgot to picture that as well. It is still mint in the protective sleeve.

I just installed my Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD today...LOVE IT!!! I bought mine for $370 from a local shop.
-
The difference between 1 and 2 is the 2nd model allows for more bands of equalization. If I am wrong I accept correction.

PM me if you want help on a design. Agreed with the rest above though...It will be hella loud but you better have the coin to back it

For a small system they will be just fine, still quality. Thermal capabilities come with the Punch and Power amps. Also they are only 2ohm stable. Efficient but not as beastly as their more pricey amps. I personally have only used POWER amps, but my brother owns Punch and Prime.

well sense money isn't a factor
2 9915z's
4 dd m4a's.
10 3100's
6ft tuned to 35hz with 120'' of port
if you post an actual budget I will give you a serious recommendation
Agreed, on the equipment list that is...2 badass 15's on a ton of power should get those numbers you want.
-
I couldn't imagine being near that port, gnarly destruction man!
-
Nice amp, could you pm me what one of those would run? $$$
-
To elaborate just a pinch, they typically have far better components used in the crossovers for separates. ^ and as said multiple times, staging. Also if you have some form of signal processor it could allow you to do timing as well.

I am a student at Michigan Technological University and as such I spend the majority of my time here in Houghton, MI. I am becoming more and more so uninterested in audio not because of audio itself but rather the lack of bassheads to enjoy it with.
Please post if you are a basshead in Michigan's great up north or even Wisconsin!
There are a few events each spring, summer, and fall here at Michigan Tech for car audio but these people are typically students that don't show their faces on these forums.
Next two events are the next 2 weekends starting with this Sunday, 5/22/11.
Unite! So that together we can inspire a new generations of addicts!

as the forum grows and it sparks an interest you are going to get that. Once you're around a while you'll see it ebbs and flows. If Steve has a vid that goes viral we will get more than normal even. Since we have such a large contingent of the youtube "loud" population we will continue to attrach noobs to the forum. Its how we grow. Its how we get the opportunity to have SOTM with the cool prizes. The new blood is what keeps car audio going and remember, you were once "that guy."
"that guy." Yup, we were all there at some point, some just have a steeper learning curve than others. Proud to say I have learned a lot from reading and hands on experience. Honestly, I cannot find the words to describe the value of product/technique research.

wat r yalls suggestions to not blow em.
based on the rest of your post, you'd be best not turning them on.
...agreed...
-
hows that sound?
Well to the ear it sounds like a good 145-147, I love it personally. I will post vids with accurate tl results after this upcoming weekend. I will also be fixing the pics on this thread.

As for deadening you should consider Audio Technix, it will get the job you need done and won't break the bank.
Post pics when you get to working on it, interested to see results.

That thing is pretty intense. Do you plan to head out to SBN next year?
