Pros and Cons please. I got the 3s on order now but I'm thinking about going with the 1 15, I cant go 2 15s due to lack of space. ASAP so I can call Rob Oh, the power is a Kicker ZX1500

Not a full XL, just upgrade to XL parts if you are ordering it.

If your amp is powered good and you know what your doing.. Yes A lvl 4/XL would be a safer bet also

thats super for you...im sure when they blow and you get fucked over on warranty your gonna be like "damn i wish i would have waited"....were all frustrated that there has been multiple delays on the product. as a dealer it is as well. so im PRETTY sure Rusty, Rob, Ana and the rest of the crew are under stress as well. its looking like a couple more weeks til they get the motors in then the will be launching them out. also keep the AA talk out of here. if you want AA then go to their section. Bro, the Rs are just fill ins till my DCs get here. They are already sold when the level 3s get here. I went a week without bass and I have got my $250 out of them so if they blow they blow, if they dont I get most of my mony back. I dont think it was a bad idea. And I got to get my set up dialed in.

at what level? sales? marketing? testing? R&D? company worth? As much as I love my subs and the DC company (all 3 people!) they are not near those companies in many regards. DC is getting by right now by making solid products, really good prices and having spectacular customer service. Those other companies get by using their names, regardless of how good or bad their products are. That is why you pay so much for their products, it IS the name. Lots of it is really good stuff too, but still it's the name. Let's hope the DC and SA and lots of others like them don't get to the point they are just selling their name. If they do I hope somebody else steps up..

It helped me figure out how far I can go with my electrical. Its good cause by time they get here I will have everything I need to hammer them safely right out of the box. I would have been ticked if I would of waited to find out my car cant handle the amp I got for them.

For the Xl i would need my amp to run at 1 ohm. It will but not without more upgrades then I plan on doing at this time. Maybe next year

If it was one sub it would be a 15 XL, which it might be next time

Even with the amount I would be underpowering them? I dont know if you guys know I'm talking about a pair sharing 1800RMS. The bad thing is if I would get the 4s and noticed they could take more the build cost would need a large increace. The only company that makes a affordable HO Alt for my car is powerbastards and I heard they where hit or miss. Also I dont have a lot of room for a battery bank. The amp I have now is already maxing the electrical.

But what would get louder? 3 or 3 with upgrade I could be wrong but they should be about the same loudness ( same motor and magnet), id just feel safer with the upgrade when dealing with that much power That was my mindset..

Ive never been a fan over overpowering a sub by as much as I was going to, 700 to a 600 sub is good but 900 to a 600 was a bit much for daily 1 hour drive. I'm no noob but you know how it is.
