  1. I plan on running a 3.5k at 1ohm on a 12v setup with two level 4 18s (rms at 1400), with the proper electrical (multiple batteries, 1/0, big 3, h/o alt) will that extra 350watts per sub affect it in anyway? I know these subs can take a beating but Im making this a daily setup and want to consistantly hammer on it without having to worry about the coils getting too smelly or the subs blowing or whatever. I'm walling them in a 04 extended cab silverado.
  2. If I was to do two 18s under the window line, how would you suggest that I support my roof?
  3. This was my level 5 18 in a 6cu ft box tuned to 32hz, 1 1/2 mdf all around
  4. Just because I've never done one before and haven't really looked into it much but how would I get enough cu ft out of a walled box for 4 18s that require 6cu ft a piece (24cu ft) I don't understand, I've seen people and YouTube videos of people with 4 walled 18s in extended cab trucks but I don't get how you get the air space.
  5. Would I have enough space? I ran a level 5 18 on a 3.5k and had it in a 6cu ft box and it took up a good portion of my back seat area. I also like to have my seat kicked back a little and intend on keeping it that way. I'll try to find a picture of my old setup
  6. I was thinking of doing like 3 layers of dynamat haha
  7. Sorry about the triple posts, I'm on my phone right now and it's a pos
  8. I'm not set on a wall but I'd be down to do one and my buddy is going to be helping me build it. We were looking up specs and I need 12cu ft for ported so we figured walling it would be easier and would double as a brace for the roof. Why not two 18s?

  11. So I bought another truck (haha) a 2003 extended cab chevy silverado and am keeping this one for a while and after talking to my buddy about system ideas we came up with two level 4 18s on a 3.5k walled tuned to about 34 hz, if anyone knows about these extended cabs the roofs are like tin cans so with dynamat and the wall for the subs we figured it would brace the roof and not flex as bad. Never done a wall setup so if you guys have some ideas that would help!
  12. Yeah the level 3s are 900rms each. I'm getting two level 3 15s on a 2k
