  1. I don't know for sure but I think you'll be fine.. I've HEARD they say nothing over 14.7 or 14.9, then again I think Steve is at 15.3...

He's talking about a charger, not alternator charging

Sorry if I wasn't clear about it, yeah I was wondering about the charger voltage, though I was also going to ask about the voltage from the alternator as well. I've seen posts from XSpower saying not to go over 14.4 for both charger and alternator but i've also seen plenty of people running around 15.1 as well. Any other info would be great on this.

  2. Just a quick question about the charging voltage. I just bought myself a D3400 a couple days ago and I already love it even though I havn't even installed it! I was wondering what would be considered "OK" for charging the battery up. The charger I have is charging at about 14.6 and I know on the XS sheet it came with not to let it go above 14.4V +/- .3 for more than 5 minutes, should I just keep an eye on the charger or is it ok charging at 14.6?

  3. alright so i'm new to this ground pound stuff, but i'm trying to figure out dimensions (mainly for the port) for my next setup consisting of 2 Havoc 15s on an AQ 2200 for now.

What should I be aiming for with port area per foot and port area over all? Trying to get around 8.25 cubes after port displacement (subs inverted), tuned to 30 hz.

  4. well it clicks no matter the volume on the head unit, and its more noticeable on like a beat rather than a held bass note. I'll take a video when I get a chance, but I set it with a O-Scope and I still stay at about 44/62 on the HU (48 is when it starts clipping according to the O-Scope)
