I don't know for sure but I think you'll be fine.. I've HEARD they say nothing over 14.7 or 14.9, then again I think Steve is at 15.3...
He's talking about a charger, not alternator charging
Sorry if I wasn't clear about it, yeah I was wondering about the charger voltage, though I was also going to ask about the voltage from the alternator as well. I've seen posts from XSpower saying not to go over 14.4 for both charger and alternator but i've also seen plenty of people running around 15.1 as well. Any other info would be great on this.

Just a quick question about the charging voltage. I just bought myself a D3400 a couple days ago and I already love it even though I havn't even installed it! I was wondering what would be considered "OK" for charging the battery up. The charger I have is charging at about 14.6 and I know on the XS sheet it came with not to let it go above 14.4V +/- .3 for more than 5 minutes, should I just keep an eye on the charger or is it ok charging at 14.6?

So steve... does this mean the hoe's getting new subs and more power??

you can always try aero ports, don't really know the difference between slot and aero as far as sound quality/spl, but i do know it's far less displacement, yielding more box space. And my friend has a fi bl 12 in 2.5 cubes with an aero it sounds and hits really hard. Just my 2 cents
-
alright so i'm new to this ground pound stuff, but i'm trying to figure out dimensions (mainly for the port) for my next setup consisting of 2 Havoc 15s on an AQ 2200 for now.
What should I be aiming for with port area per foot and port area over all? Trying to get around 8.25 cubes after port displacement (subs inverted), tuned to 30 hz.

sub facing out of trunk for more push when you boosting with nitrous imo... make you faster than anyone else lol
should be interesting to see what he does next, tuned in for sure!

Ummm yeah... Team SMD'Amore FTMFW keep up the production, next up is the vu-din for me

SEX, err I mean... Nice

lol, i did a 143 on an aq1200 not even tuned right (though it is now thanks to the dd-1 ) with 1 15 tuned to 30, i think you'll be more than capable of 140 with 4 15s

Torres box calculator will help a ton with this, helped me with mine

honestly if you wanna shake your car apart and others and dont care about numbers go for 30hz
ground pound that mofo

Dorm Room Flex LOL

Lol that's badass bro, I'd use those speakers as an alarm in the morning if I could at my dorm

As much as you may want to go big or go home, you're better off building something and then adding to it, in my opinion. Then again, I don't know what kind of experience you have with your previous installs.

That looks really nice! you gonna have enough room to run the wires for both with that little spacing between them?
-
It sounds like a penny or something is vibrating in it i guess? not sure whats happening. On a side note, how would I wire a DVC sub in reverse, do i just need to switch everything or only the wires from the amp? Thanks for the help -
well it clicks no matter the volume on the head unit, and its more noticeable on like a beat rather than a held bass note. I'll take a video when I get a chance, but I set it with a O-Scope and I still stay at about 44/62 on the HU (48 is when it starts clipping according to the O-Scope)
-
Ahhh didn't think of that lol
-
I thought I read you only need to reverse if you are inverting 1 of 2 or more subs, but alright will do
-
Tinsel Slap seems like it may be the problem for the AA Havoc, at least according to some stuff I found on google
-
It's only 1 subwoofer so I don't need to I don't believe.. do I?
