  1. Ford Escape: Y UR ALTERNATOR SO BADLY PLACED D:

  2. He's talking about a charger, not alternator charging Sorry if I wasn't clear about it, yeah I was wondering about the charger voltage, though I was also going to ask about the voltage from the alternator as well. I've seen posts from XSpower saying not to go over 14.4 for both charger and alternator but i've also seen plenty of people running around 15.1 as well. Any other info would be great on this.
  3. Just a quick question about the charging voltage. I just bought myself a D3400 a couple days ago and I already love it even though I havn't even installed it! I was wondering what would be considered "OK" for charging the battery up. The charger I have is charging at about 14.6 and I know on the XS sheet it came with not to let it go above 14.4V +/- .3 for more than 5 minutes, should I just keep an eye on the charger or is it ok charging at 14.6?
  4. So steve... does this mean the hoe's getting new subs and more power??
  5. you can always try aero ports, don't really know the difference between slot and aero as far as sound quality/spl, but i do know it's far less displacement, yielding more box space. And my friend has a fi bl 12 in 2.5 cubes with an aero it sounds and hits really hard. Just my 2 cents
  6. alright so i'm new to this ground pound stuff, but i'm trying to figure out dimensions (mainly for the port) for my next setup consisting of 2 Havoc 15s on an AQ 2200 for now. What should I be aiming for with port area per foot and port area over all? Trying to get around 8.25 cubes after port displacement (subs inverted), tuned to 30 hz.
  7. sub facing out of trunk for more push when you boosting with nitrous imo... make you faster than anyone else lol should be interesting to see what he does next, tuned in for sure!
  8. lol, i did a 143 on an aq1200 not even tuned right (though it is now thanks to the dd-1 ) with 1 15 tuned to 30, i think you'll be more than capable of 140 with 4 15s
  9. Torres box calculator will help a ton with this, helped me with mine
