  1. dont go with kicker, you can get better for way cheaper, kicker isnt a bad brand, also i wouldnt buy used subs, unless you plan on reconinig them, lol. ive bought used subs before and had them both blow the same day, they started out playing stinky, also the kid who had them before me was an idiot and didnt know what impedance they were so he just had them hooked up to some shitty ass amp, but id look around before you decide, there are alot of options for good subs out there, no point in rushing into buying a system, like i've done in the past.

  2. I never said it was a choice for sound deadner, it is roofing material, nor wanted to mention others since I haven't used much any.. just trying to point the guy in the right direction and say you should browse your options and look around, period.

thats not pointing him in the right direction. Lmao
  3. Do some searchin, there's a lot of lower end stuff that's still good shit. Don't want to advertise others stuff but I used "peal n seal" myself and for the price I triple layered my panels and its a big difference..

don't listen to him, peal n seal ISNT sound deadner. Look at audio technix, they're really cheap and good.
  4. I love my sa12s. Although each of them has a blown coil so they arent getting the full power they're still not bad at all.

how did you do that?? how much power are you putting to them and whats your enclosure like?

    he didnt blow em

they are k3n12ock's old subs from his own build, he blew a coil on each woofer and tore one of the surrounds

    then cjN bought em

i should be reconing them within the next few weeks

this. I forgot about this thread, lol.
  5. All of Sundown's products are on http://www.woofersetc.com/default.aspx? and can price them there.

Can't really help on the last question.

I understand how would u rate the SA for 194.99 on Sundown can they really do 150. DB have u ever seen them burn up voice coil wise trying to get some information on this please help thanks!

meh, if anyone blows a sundown sa line woofer its generally user error

i had a saz3500d running at .5 to mine and they ran for like 3-4 months before i went and sold them, their still being used to this day... they can take some power

deffinatly wont find a better woofer for less than 200 new like the sa12s

They are now in my car, but i can tell you that he wasnt easy on them and they took his 3500 like a champ, i'm deffinantly happy with them. Like he stated you can't go wrong with the sa line. Cheap and they'll take power like champs. Would recommend them to anyone.
