Team BAD

I come from a family of mechanics so it was only natural that I grew to become an Automotive Technician. I now own a shop in Winterville, NC that I opened in 2007 after figuring out even though I made good money on commission, why not make the whole 100% minus what Uncle Sam takes. It's been 4 years now and business has never been better.

I started playing with car audio in 1992, and since then it has become a passion of mine. Nearly 20 years later I'm still a BASS junkie, although a system's clarity and the integrity of the install is just as important as the knock in the back. I had worked in the car audio industry at Alton's Audio for numerous years as a custom installer/enclosure builder before becoming a service manager at a large shop in 2006.

Team BAD stands for Baker Audio Design, and now has 4 demos riding around pounding the streets. There are numerous other installs I've had a hand in building through the years, including the enclosure in Mike Barfield's World Record setting Explorer that started with 24 twelves and ended with 6 Stroker 18s. All this was from around 1995-1998. Believe me when I say I'm not new to the game!
