    i would just paint the false floor.. carpet would make it harder to slide the box in and out..BUT also would help hold it in there..

    but really your not going to see a great deal of the false floor so id save the carpet for other things..

    but i like the idea of extending the floor beyond that "hump" and basically make a "roof" over the batteries..

    and yes it takes MANY MANY coats of spray paint for the mdf to stop soaking it up.. but ive painted many boxes and never had any fisheyes or runs in it

    personally i dont see what everybody is bitching about.. i like it.. might be a little harder to install than a stinger meter..

    but this is visually more appealing....

    i bet the people that are bitching about your product simply cannot afford it..so they proceed to bitch about it..

    ill for SURE be buying 1 of these (bc my stinger crapped out and im using a digital multimeter right now)

    you better upgrade your electrical before you fry your amps/subs/something else in your car.

    edit: and use deadener. please fucking use some type of GOOD sound deadener like second skin. donks that rattle piss me the fucking fuck off

    dont ya know flapping metal is all the rage these days

    and playing at 10v is sweeetttt..you aint balling unless you rattle and see 10v

    im not coming off like im the best installer, just posting vids of some projects im doing. and u seem to be the only person on 4 forums who always has something negative to say.(cant win them all).lol thats funny.but really though thanx for the criticism, even if i do have noob skills the more builds i do the better i get maybe you forgot that. Also i have somebody else build boxes because i want my team to eat as well as myself plus i dont have time for it. keep the hate to yourself

    and i have noticed that about you civic you do have a lot of hate lately....(in doctor phil voice) do you need someone to talk to? is there something going on thats causing all of this hate? lolol sorry dude i had to...but seriously dude you were pretty dool when i first joined now almost everything i see you post is hate...

    no hate coming from me.. it just bugs me when somebody does a system and they half ass everything..

    everybody starts somewhere. derrr......but I DID NO customer cars until I KNEW everything i needed to know..

    somebody tell me yup run that 2500w amp on a stock 50amp alt and no batteries..your out your mind..

    IN MY OPINION you should learn alot more before messing other peoples cars up..

    maybe the "hate" comes from being on here and constantly seeing the same thread about what box..what battery.. if capacitors are good..etc etc etc

    when they can find out theyselves in 5 fucking minutes..

    but yet in your other videos you had some dude make your box..and then you didnt know if the subs were out of phase or not..

    just saying from what ive seen of you on this forum.. you have noob skills at best

    running a "2500w" amp on a stock alt and no batteries?...come on most old cars came with 40 and 50 amp alternators...

    how can you guys actually expect top quality when the meters are made by the billions? they cant.. i had one work for almost 3yrs no issues until last week..

    ive had customers also and friends have thier stinger meter just stop working or reads off even when set with a dmm..

    i know i went to ebay and bought 4 digital multimeters for 9bux each.. and wow they are accurate as my fluke meter.. looks ghetto BUT i know it wont stop working 1 day..and when it does ill replce a 9v battery or hell i got 3 more lol

    sub weighs 76 78lbs.. far from 90

    and nicce anything gets loud in a crx.. also how was that hole to cut out? i sure had a terrable time lol.. trace the bottom of the motor get sstuck 1/2 way in take it out recut etc etc..took me 40mins to make 1 sub hole..

    several websites were saying 90lbs, probably shipping wieght, I just looked at one site audiosavings, and they claim they are 92 http://www.audiosavi...D2/XXX12D2.aspx, ebay says 90lb on multiple auctions, wasn't trying to misinform anyone, but I have yet to see a site that does not say they are 90+ pounds.

    for sure not a 90lb woofer unless the 1 i built a box for was on a diet with jenny craig

    The 2 amps I am running are an Alpine MRP-M500, and a much older Sony XM-4045, the Sony I don't think needs 4 Gauge to go to it, I was considering just running 8 gauge.But I am for sure running 4 gauge to the Alpine amp.

    As for the wire, my local shop has some high strand wire for $1.39 a foot. I figure I should just go with that, that way I don't have to wait, and pay for shipping.

    no need to waste wire and run 2 positive wires..

    alpine m500 and small amp.. single ofc run of 4g front to back..and use a distrobution block and do your 8g to the sony and 4g or 8g to the alpine

    single 4g run to distobution block..simple as pie

    what amp are you running?? and i would check out the knu CCA wire it is 0 guage but only $2 a foot so you could do the big 3 with it and run it to your amp so you could upgrade in the future. just a option. eather way i would do the big 3 with 0.

    honestly i would rather have OFC 4gauge wire instead of 0g CCA.. cca wire totally sucks in my book

    but UNLESS you do plan on upgrading in the future.. the 0g is complete overkill and kind of a waste of money

    and there is OFC 0g on ebay for cheaper than 2bux a foot.. OFC is ALWAYS better
