Okay so I purchased the 2 Deka's. Now the new question is... Do I run one up front and one in the back or do I leave the stock Honda battery up front and run the 2 Deka's in the back???
Go ahead and run the two Deka's in the back with the stock Honda if you got the room and enough to make it look nice...also doing so will cause less voltage drops....
Good luck

Id personaly tell ur "friends" to keep thier hands of YOUR stereo. In my ride only i, the driver, am allowed to turn the volume up or down and change songs. Your friends are some dumbass' if they do that shit on purpose i'd punch them in the face.
I try to get them to stop but they don't listen haha I will punch them next time....

Ok so I have a pretty big issue...my friends have the tendancy to wanna crank my stereo up when they know it will blow my subs...only problem is they do it anyways cuz they think it can't hurt...any deck I can get that will allow me to lock my volume at a certain point on it so it can't be blown....
Also how do I know how loud to turn my system up anyways??? I mean I wanna get it as loud as possible but I don't wanna blow my subs or ruin anything so how do I know how loud to turn it up???
Thanks!!

I would do a XS D3400 up front and a XS D1200 in the back.
Another option, assuming you would be able to fit it upfront, would be a single XS D3100.
Will the the first option with the two batteries work fine on a stock alt?

It depends on the size of you stock alternator. Mine is a 117A, which is pretty big for stock. I would suggest a second small battery in the back just to be certain your proving sufficient power to the amp.
If I do the xs batt in the front(the one u got)...and a small one in the back ( any suggestions on that too? Sorry kinda new to this...) work on a stock alt?
-
I'd highly suggest a XS Power battery mate... But if your stuck on Kinetik, I would do an 1800 up front and another in the back.
I only have one battery up front
Can't afford a second battery LOL
Haha alright thanks man will the battery u have work fine for the front without needing one in the back? Thanks man

I'm running my DC2k on stock alt with one D3400 under the hood. Big 3, everything in 0gauge. Lowest I've dropped is 13.6v
U got a battery in the back too? Or just the one in the front?

You wont need much to be honest, a high output alternator(250A) and single good battery should keep up
I'm Gunna go with a kinetic batt...which one would work best with this setup?
-
That would work fine, just set gains properly and make sure you have the electrical to support the 2k. Pm CJ18 or Dwright27 for pricing.
What kind of electrical setup would I need to run The 2? And thank you!

Would this amp work fine with these subs? DC 2.0k Amp with 2 dc level 4 15s? And how much will those two combined run me at?
Headunit has power, but won't light up!

Ok, so I just bought a new kenwood headunit it came with the wiring harness and i matched up the colors to the wires in my 1984 toyota pickup based on the wiring diagram here: http://www.modifiedlife.com/1984-toyota-pickup-car-radio-wire-color-codes/ and the wiring diagram that came with the head unit. but it powers on (i can hear it and i can put a disc in and eject it.) but it wont light up buttons or display anything! please help! not sure what other info to post but yeah
