Ok, so I just bought a new kenwood headunit it came with the wiring harness and i matched up the colors to the wires in my 1984 toyota pickup based on the wiring diagram here: http://www.modifiedlife.com/1984-toyota-pickup-car-radio-wire-color-codes/ and the wiring diagram that came with the head unit. but it powers on (i can hear it and i can put a disc in and eject it.) but it wont light up buttons or display anything! please help! not sure what other info to post but yeah

Go ahead and run the two Deka's in the back with the stock Honda if you got the room and enough to make it look nice...also doing so will cause less voltage drops.... Good luck

Ok so I have a pretty big issue...my friends have the tendancy to wanna crank my stereo up when they know it will blow my subs...only problem is they do it anyways cuz they think it can't hurt...any deck I can get that will allow me to lock my volume at a certain point on it so it can't be blown.... Also how do I know how loud to turn my system up anyways??? I mean I wanna get it as loud as possible but I don't wanna blow my subs or ruin anything so how do I know how loud to turn it up??? Will the the first option with the two batteries work fine on a stock alt?

If I do the xs batt in the front(the one u got)...and a small one in the back ( any suggestions on that too? Sorry kinda new to this...) work on a stock alt?
