that should be a good spot to ground it. just sand/grind the paint off the area where the ring terminal makes contact with the metal and clean the surface rust off the washer too and you should be good
-
so how much did pepsi pay you for the advertising?
-
That would leave you at 10.6 inches per cube of port which is good. and your internal volume is 4.73 with 0.57 port volume
-
I would go with the 1.75 cubes tuned to 32 Hz. what amp will you be running these off of?
-
is that bolt going into any thick piece of metal or just the seat frame thing? if that bolt is on that holds the seat in place then you should be good with just sanding the paint off where the ring terminal contacts the metal

With the help of the Torres calc program (found here)
I gathered the following from your provided information:
Port area: 37.68
Port area per cube ft: 7.11
Tuning frequency: 26.12 hz
If you dont have Torres, download it and try it..
you should have entered 5.3 into the gross volume instead of net volume because the 5.3 is after sub displacements but before port displacement
-
i think with aero ports you need between 9-12 sq in per cube so youre a little low on port area but not too bad. maybe somebody with more experience on aero ports can help out
-
I came up with tuning of just over 27 Hz 7.72 sq in of port per cube and .42 port displacement

swing my door by gucci mane!
no just kidding dont do that!!!
try here: Bass Mechanic by DJ Billy E might work for you but ive never listened to it

i has no tracking numbers yet

i just installed some rockford fosgate p3's and they had high roll surrounds

it does do 100w rms at 14.6v but im not running 14+v.. so the amp only does 75w rms at 12.6.. i want the speakers louder so i want to wire them different to get the extra power at 12.6v that you get if they were on a 2ohm load if that makes sense.. its a 4ch and the 2 rear ch are running 2 ohm 6x9's and i have 2 sets(4 speakers) of componets on the front 2 ch so i dont want to under power them so much.. im a noob so any advice will b appreciated
standard 12 volt vehicles charge at ~14.4 volts so you would be getting 100w out of the amp

to attach the edges to the wood you could use the adhesive and drill and countersink holes and use screw to hold it as well.
one thing it 3/4" might be too thin for how large of a piece you are using but i dont personally have experience with plexiglass

Hopefully there Should be a big batch of subs going out tomorrow.
soooo hyped! hopefully mine are in tomorrows batch!

the old kicker solobarics s15d rec. 1.5 sealed
i have one for sale 120 plus shipping
Thanks for the reply, but reason i am looking for a 15 to work in such a small sealed box, is i am thinking about doing 8 15s in the extended cab of a dakota again!!
why not just do 4 in a ported box? it would be alot cheaper and louder if done right
i thought the exact same thing when i read that. less of a wow factor but way more wow factor once they hear it

could be a bad starter solenoid as well. if you tap the starter with a hammer or wrench and that doesnt fix it then put a screwdriver between the battery positive on the solenoid and the trigger terminal and see if the car starts
-
basically when two dissimilar subs try to produce the same frequency there will be cancellations at certain frequencies
-
Bump it up. I really want 50 feet of good 1/0
-
This one is also nice, <- I have also bought from this person before.
This one was the best as far as quality goes.
since this only has 2 wires to it what controls it from turning on and off?

yeah.....i fliped over my skateboard and destroyed it...+ i broke my nose...
haha ive never heard the word scuted. im guessing you mean like credit carding yourself or popsiscle sticking yoursself?
I haven't skated in yrs... with my ears all messed up I doubt I will ever skate again
that sucks. its hard to skate with ear problems. even like a small ear infection throws off ur balance like crazy
-
scuted?
-
I've seen a few people say they skateboard in their interests but how many people on this forum skateboard? Post up some vids if you have them!
Here's a video of me and my big brother skating the other night. Check it out, comment on it, subscribe to my channel if you like my stuff

2 level 3 DC's, 1 DC level 4, 2 AA chaos, 1 AA havoc, 1 Fi BL, 2 DD 2500's, 1 DD 3500, 2 Rockford T1's, 2 sundown sa's, the list goes on.
-
only the level 6 from dc comes with a 4" coil. all the other subs from them are 3" but other than that I think the XL would be closest to the BL
