  1. No no, i've heard of a sealed box haha. A VACCUM sealed box is what im talking about haha. Somehow he said they suck the air out of them?
  2. Hey guys, so i was in my english class talkin with my teacher, who supprisingly was into car audio. He was explaining to me all about it then brought up he was more SQ and that they used a box that was air tight. Does anyone know about these? Or was he just messing with me. (For sealed enclosure of course) Thanks
  3. X2 My kicker had a very stiff cone. It loosens after awhile though. Well 40 dollars is a wonderful deal then i had a kicker with a small hole, the company told me they only will cover it if the voice coil was blown. So would have been a suggestion. Hell i say patch it and get to bumpin!
  4. That would be it, yeah i know there wasn't much of a discription, i couldn't really remember anything from it.. It was just intended to people who may have seen it such as the person above. Thanks for the help, and sorry for the lack of discription. My memory doesn't hold to well with me
  5. Alright, well i know this doesn't help really haha but I was watching youtube and a guy is singing it's normal then completely out of nowhere the bass hits, not like a drop. It's very unpreddictable. Anyone know this song? Or a song like this.
  6. Hey did you get the sub from an authorized kicker dealer?
  7. Haha, i'd be worried as hell. Think about it, could have got lostin so many states. Well.. we think it got lost in New York but it's possible it got lost in California... Sorry for your loss. Next time we advice you to pick up insurance, have a nice day!
  8. especially if the driver might have taken them, they seem to not change routes, like i get the same UPS guy 95/100 times. This makes me nervous ordering anything now. I always do get the same UPS guy though and he knows I work with car audio since he's delivered so many times. Hopefully I wont get screwed over when I order the BTL's. Good luck OP That's bad when you have to hope someone doesn't steal your things, when you bought them. And payed for the services, it should be a gaurantee it will be there. Not have the customer hoping they won't be screwed over for a service they payed for.. Why should people have to insure stuff thats there job, thats the service were paying for. I think Im getting most of it back from FedEx. I didn't just file a claim I made many calls to supervisors managers. E-mails sent to headquarters. Any number I could call or email address I found. They got an ear full. Exactly what im sayin man, your paying for the service. Why should it feel like a gamble if you get your things. Obviously not a great company to go through. Good give them more than an earfull man, if you ask me you should be compensated alot more than a damn refund. But i guess you can't really prove they were stolen by the driver, it's all just a assumption.

  10. Some shady stuff, haven't had any bad luck yet with UPS never used fedex, dont think i will it seems.
  11. Hey there fellers, finally got my system put in. The thing is nasty! Just wanted to say thank you guys for all the help, and thanks Rusty for making a beast sub. Special shoutout to Fmedina for making my box. Thanks man. Thanks to everyone on the forum in general. Much to learn Appreciate your help. Bassheads gotta stick together haha.
  12. Sooo found the problem you weree right it's the back of the deck unfortunately. SO i'll go pick up another connecting thingy.
  13. The deck remote wire or the wire it'sself. It's as simple as hooking up the blue wire on the back of the deck to a wire that goes to the antenna wire on the amp right? Unless i've forgot something. It's quiet frusterating.
  14. u can check your remote by using a jumper from power to remote just don't leave it like that just check it Alright, well progress. The light turned on when i did that, so that means my remote isn't hooked up properly?
  15. Hmm still not working, i'd check the voltage make sure it's live but i don't have a meter unfortunately.
  16. So guess i have bigger problems, cut some of the power wire to create a ground, still not working, i have the remote hooked up the ground is secure, and the power on the negative battery post, am i doing something wrong!?
  17. Not planning on pounding it, just to see if it turns on haha. Can i use the 4 gauge power wire cut some of that off and use it as a ground?
  18. i assume it has something to do with it not having correct powerflow bc its not fully grounded but i have no idea on the technical of it just my assumption and you know what they say about assuming lmao Haha my thoughts exactly, imma try to hook up more than one of them i think
  19. Lol, yes i understand that have had it happen to me as well. Im just wanting the amp to turn on.
  20. Haha, yeah man planning on getting a bigger one tomorrow. I was just seeing how it would work xD. Im pretty sure it's the ground too, but the question is why won't it work as a ground .
