  2. take it to a shop...

hint, next time you try to get some help.... you are going to have to know a little something about what your trying to install, or dont bother..

and give as much info as you can..

    like this.......................

hi, i am a noob, i have a 93 turd and factory speakers and this is the 2nd h/u that has fried in 2 weeks... i have searched the car to try to find smashed wires.. i have made sure all the connections behind the deck are kool..  i hear squealing noises or clicks right befor eit shuts off... if i disconnect the rear speakers it never shuts off, what could be my problem?

something like that at least.. look at it this way...... we dont have a book that tells us every noobs problem.. there are no magic answers.. we know what we know because we have seen alot, its all stored in our heads.

now sure i could name off everything that can smoke a deck, BUT by the way your asking i highly doubt you would even understand 1/10 of it.

    so try that post again

  3. Very nice Steve...ummm how to say this..  I sink a 1/2" roundover bit about a 1/16 of an inch on my ports, it helps to create a ledge to cut the carpet aound the port. Not at all saying you cut crooked, cause they look damn straight to me, but this trick helps the process...didnt know if you have ever tried it. But i do it everytime, makes that part just fly..also digging how you do 4 part sides, to keep the seams off of a corner, I might steal that 1... I do 2 par sides and split it in the middle of the panel, then just use hella glue on all corners, they never come off.But needless to say im still gonna try that 1.

  4. you will under cut the mdf windows and over cut your plexi,... use a 1/2 wide by 1/4" tall piece of foam tape all the way around the window, and screw it on very good... remember to pilot drill your holes.. I get my plexi from select products. the extruded stuff, the other cast stuff is crap imo..

but anyway i hope that helps, even though Im not BIG DOG STEVE MEADE!!!

See YA man,  RAY @ SS

    how much power you running?

    how long of a run?

what alt. are you going to run?

    Example, im running 12000rms 18ft 300amp alt. with 4 pc2150's
