    lol why wouldnt that count... well at comparison i think there are more v6 fastest production cars than v8

    for that sub you can tune higher.. try a tuning closer to 35-36 htz youll be alot happier and it will free up some room in your box

    thats what i was thinking them subs like it at around 36-38.... i am currently building a box for these same subs but i got it tuned to around 35-36. right now i have them in a box thats tune to 39-40 its ok but im building a new one to tune lower. good subs by the way

    what wattage do u have urs at, cause mine are on 500wrms and they make a popping sound when i go 3/4 to full tilt.

    mine are seeing roughly 900-1100... i got each sub wired at 2ohm with a kicker zx1000.1 to each sub

    this could be different what are we talking? are we talking even foregin cars cuz you could go up to 16 cylinders 8.0 litre... every heard of bugatti

    either wal that nsx is a sexy car... even the one back in the day was looking good

    nice man, but i would REALLY suggest not pounding in your driveway.... easiest way to get your stuff stolen.

    lolol its also easier to shoot people in your driveway as well

    LMFAO and this is a gated community full of rich people.

    ive seen more stuff stolen off military installations than anything... the rich are more ample to steal from others anyways since they don like spending their money...

    get a good ear

    most songs don't "sound good" because of how it was made/recorded, not the quality/kbps. aside from frequencies above say, 8000hz, you shouldn't be able to tell the difference from 320kbps to cd quality. most cant tell 256kbps from cd quality. if the song doesn't have a ton of data it doesn't benefit to have more information per second. now an orchestra playing Schoenberg could definitely benefit from the highest quality, but you arent trying to drown out the violin with a bass drum like we drown out lyrics from rap

    this is exactly right you wont be able to tell the difference from cd unless it was better recorded. this is why artist use so many eq's while recording and change per track or vocals

    edit: also noticed you referred to the occasionally free mixtape IE. mixtape torrent or datpiff. if this is what you are referring to then what you get is what you get. those cd's are put up there for free and are generally based on the recording equipment from the dj's that host the mixtape. this is why you will get a better cd from one dj then the next

    I hooked up a battery charger to my trucks battery and I went outside 30 minutes later to look for my cell phone and my amp was ON and it was flickering in and out of protection mode. It was soooo hot I couldn't hold it. I quickly disconnected the remote wire thinking I was getting a signal from my head unit since I've been getting a voltage leak lately and it didn't stop. Once I stopped the charger, the amp went off. All that was connected to the amp were power and ground wires and it was still on. I turned the charger back on the the amp stayed off. WTF HAPPENED? I think it fried my amp. I'm so pissed right now.

    not sure what happened but i believe most charger manuals say to charge a battery while its disconnected

    U have a newer one most of the problems come on the early escapes. Check out escape-city alot of ppl have problems with the 1srt generation escapes.

    It was a great car till I hit 100k and its 90%in hwy miles 100+ miles a day to and from work and a few trips from md to Ga to see my mom.

    Like I said with a family with more then 3the ppl its way to small. Plus ur car sounds like its in great shape so u should be able to trade for something alot better then a 3000little escape

    Well bro i have some good things to say as i own an 07 escape. I got 110000+ miles on it and it still runs great. Oil changes at every 3000 miles for the first 20000 miles and every 5000 miles after that and now back to every 3000 mile now im over 100000. Did the trans fluid and coolant also at correct intervals, and spark plugs and everything. Its a great small suv that could be dependable. All negatives here could be from some who just dont like ford or dont really have one (but "nows someone who does"). I would say the cargo is small depending on what audio you are looking at but still big enough for my 7.5cu box for 2 15's and a battery. It has a good compartment under the cargo area that i put both my 11zx1000.1 amps. I have the 4 cylinder and i dont like where the alternator is mounted, its hard work to change that out. This suv has also been from texas to flordia and back. I was stationed in England and it endured some harsh winters there also. I have nothing but good things about the escape and plan on buying the 2012 come january, (if i dont decided on the 2012 durango). Anything else plaese ask me.

    wont be able to trade i cut the front door panels to fit in some 8" mid bass

    Hmm well since my batteries only 6 months old should I use the warranty? And next pay check I'll get some 0 gauge for big 3, and maybe a second batt with 0 gauge ran to it, who would've thought electrical would be so important at 500 watts rms lol.

    what kind of battery is it? And if its been only six months i would say yes

    edit: on 500wrms no real need to get the xs or kinetik although it will help. Just depends on your funds if you can get the xs or kintek go for it. Do you play you stereo loud all the time?

    very cool to see how easy the tool is to use! no more guessing random positions

    one question tho...since no two amps (of the same model) are the exact same, after setting the gains with the DD1 on each amp, while gain matching would it be possible that in some scenarios that the gain would have to be turned back up to match the master amp? thus causing them to go back into slight distortion since each one was turned up right up pretty much right to the edge of distortion? i obviously can't see you turning the knobs, so it could very well be SO slight that it still keeps them all distortion free, but it just piqued my curiosity.

    EDIT: i guess if this is possible, one easy solution would be to take a DMM and check the voltage on each amp and go with the lowest voltage amp to prevent them from being tuned any higher into distortion, yes? OR...i could just be completely way off lol

    do big 3 with 4 awg or thicker. if that doesnt solve it, you probably need a new battery or alternator.

    my guess is a new battery. if you're only pushing 500 watts, your headlights really shouldn't dim that bad.

    ^^ This... That should help out better. Also is this a new occurrence or has the dimming been happening ever since you had the system hooked up. If its been just dimming lately you may want to look into a new battery.

    get a cadence one, I really like mine.

    just seen your build its nice.... An eq i may get also just not right now, the one from the deck will have to do. I am just needing The crossover first cause i am having the tweeters on the same 4 channel amp and the high pass will only block 200hz and below and i need to at least block 1.2khz for the tweeters.
