  1. your logic isn't that great, so you should probably read up for a little longer before posting suggestions.

Well using physics, University Physics II to be exact... His first amp can put out 2600 watts plus the 400 watts of the second amp = 3000 Watts. Lets say 14.4 volts is desirable... Using P (watts) divided by E (volts) equals I (amps) or 3000/14.4 = 208 amps roughly and that's without the in efficiency of the amps or the cars draw... he is only charging with 160 amps, my logic doesn't add up??? Ok then...

he simply said he would be fine just to watch voltage... for what the op is doing is fine and the price hes getting the batts i would say go for the 2 batts setup. i am running more than 3000 watts in my car and its just fine and i have a stock 130amp alt

  2. Like sanitarium says i need to find out what the file is created before deciding to convert it, or just leave it the file it is... i did a few sound test today on different file types and its and seemed that there are some mild differences. the wav files didnt seem to make any difference and just took up a lot of space. and in fact when converted to wav file and compared to a mp3 file at 320kbs the mp3 file seemed to have sounded better.

  3. What are you powering? DD audio , DC 3.5K, Sundown 2500 , and AQ of course. I would go with the AQ and use the rest for a battery and or alternator

Sub stage as of now i have 2 AQ sdc 2.5 15's powered by 2 kicker zx1000.1. electrical is a diehard platinum and yellow top with stock 130amp alt and big 3 down

  4. Hifonics brz2400.1

Edit: hell for 540 you could get the colossus 3200

i'd rather have an audioque than a brutus

have to agree i had a topic open before about changing amps... and it was going from kicker to hifonics and it seemed everyone agreed thats a downgrade

  5. i have that same amp. Yes each sub can get its own set of terminals , the terminals are interconnected inside the amp so you will still achieve the ohm load you are after

Alright thanks... how you like the amp? and what you have it pushing

  6. So i am going to buy an AQ 2200D friday. Well i was looking at the amp on the aq site and i see 2 sets of terminals. I am wondering do you put each sub into each terminal and the amp wires them together on the inside? Can anyone help me on understanding this? Also maybe a few recommendations i have 540 to spend.
