  3. I checked my left tweet and the wires are solid, no faults anywhere. my right cross over is located under the passenger seat.
  4. i went through and wired one by one. its my right tweeter that is making the static sound. what should i do to fix this? also i noticed my left tweeter doesn't even work at all. these are brandnew speakers.
  5. yeah i made sure of it, do you think the fact that my ground crosses over my rca's? i've heard people having static sounds from that. not if is still happens with your RCAs unplugged. Im pretty sure my amp would go into protect if anything was wired wrong. not necessarily. my two cross overs are wired right, im going to try the ground rca idea. give me 2 min

  8. Yeah when i unplugged the RCA's the static was their still, with no other sound obviously.
  9. So i just recently installed my T2652-S off a punch 400 4 channel amp. at all levels of volume (even 0) i have a static sound comming from all the speakers. the sound doesn't get louder as i increase the volume. ive wired everything right and i have a very good ground for the amp. any ideas? thanks
  10. Alright so i want to buy a RF T2500-1bd cp, but i don't want to pay the crazy 1800 bucks for one, so i searched on the internet looking for a better price. i came across sonic electronix. how is it that they can sell it for 800 dollars cheaper? how does the warranty work? know of a place where i can buy a t2500 and get reliable warranty without having to pay close to 2 grand? thanks
  11. Alright, so I'm working on a huge construction project called GTAP in surrey B.C Canada, its a 400 million dollar project with 3 huge buildings (RCMP Detachment center). Currently, a roofing company is working on one of the buildings, and I see them throw out tones of scrap pieces of this rubber membrane. (http://www.cofair.com/peel_seal.aspx) I'm able to take these pieces with no questions asked, so I was wondering if this stuff would work instead of paying an insane amount for Dynamat or other products such as this. Do you think it would work? Thanks~
  12. good 1/0 isnt cheap, that being said i have used knukonceptz and had good results from them, but i still prefer kicker 1/0 over all others, just my opinion. if you want kicker, sonic electronix has 20ft rolls for eighty bucks and thats enough in a lot of cars for one run and grounds, just need a fuse holder 250 Amp fuse?
  13. You guys know any good sites to order 1/0 gauge from? local car audio shops over charge like crazy on their wiring.
  14. yea you need to switch out the alternator for sure. and that yellow top, im pretty sure you still have some sort of voltage drop. i will let you know when i get my bc3500 from repair this week to see if the battery can keep the voltage on 3.5krms. i got a dc power 270 alternator with a xs power d3400 battery. It won't be my only battery though, I plan on purchasing a new one to be set up in the truck next to my amp and box/sub.
  15. If I could get away with a 220 amp alternator I'd rather do that.
  16. Why would I need to switch out my yellow top? lol. I think its fine haha. I have a 2005 mitsubishi lancer ralliart, with the stock alternator (110 amps)
  17. I have a Fi BTL N2 dual 2 sub woofer running of a Sundown saz 3500d at one ohm. I have a yellow top under the hood and will be getting another battery in the back, what size alternator do you think would be best to have no voltage drop without having to spend alot of money. I want to go with the DC power 220 amp alternator but I'm not sure if it is enough or not. I also don't really want to spend more and get the 270 amp. Any ideas? Thanks~
