Well he decided to rip everything apart and start over, so I will have to wait until tomorrow when he finishes to go do more testing but we added an Kinetic HC800 and will see what happens. We'll let you know. Thanks

Just by ear so far was doing in the dark last night. They're run at 1 ohm on both just swapped the amp straight out. Will play with it some more, just expected a big jump.

Ok so I wasn't intentionally trying to start a VS topic so I should've worded it differently. I upgraded from a 500bd to a 1.2k on 2 level 3 D4 10's thinking I would get a noticeable difference. I just wanted to see if it being stock electrical would be holding that amp back. Not rying to bash any names as I am a big fan of both. Just wanted to see what others experiences were with the 1.2K. Thanks

Shouldn't the 1.2K be a better match and pretty much blow the 500bd out of the water. Well we have it hooked up to the 2 level 3 10's, still need to do some fine tuning but it seems either the same or maybe a little weaker. Just wanted to get some thoughts. It's on stock electrical at the moment in a cab in half 2005 Ford Ranger. Just thought that would be a huge difference effectively doubling the power.

Please explain the difference as I thought originally that an XL was an upgraded Level 4 with Level 5 soft parts. However I see people asking for both, maybe a noob question. I just wanted a little clarification. Thanks to all who reply.

Couldn't you just put your zipcode in the Contact/Dealer tab on their website and see who your local rep is? Or is that no longer a valid list of Authorized Dealers?
