Buffalo ftw, i have that exact one, and with 2900sq ft I get good signal everywhere
-
Bro you have a nice car, don't cheap out on the radio, it's the details that set cars apart. Do it right and if you want it fiberglassed, made a wood frame and go from there like you are supposed to
-
Better imo than the rammat in my other vehicle. Why did you order something without knowing these things first?
-
Yes bassmunky, 25ftx1ft

i have 75sq in my trunk, AWESOME stuff!

EDIT: the unit in the car with blue sticks out too. I think there's just about no way to make it flush unless you want you HU facing down or if you make that whole dash piece stick out or cut the top part and push it back so it won't have that angle.
i dont think so, at least not enough to notice. thats why the center is recessed, to level it out, but also to set it back into the dash

the middle one looks like its made of wood to me, you should be able to handle that pretty easily

hi everyone, i dont have any experience in making something cutsom like this and would like to know how you guys would make something to fit this... the only ones already made cost over 150 bucks and are chrome or wood grain haha. i need mine to be just black and cost like 40 bucks... here is the dash hole. and if you notice its on an angle towards the front of the car and down and the side are also angled. let me know if you need any more info.
easy. make you a template out of carboard, then order some ABS plastic from ebay big enough for the hole, and make your own. there are always other mounting options if you are open to them, like under dash or in the glove box, or building a console to house it. check my build link in my sig and around page 4 or 5 i think, you will see how i did mine

Also interested in this, I'm in Nashville as well.
if you find something, let me know, im on the hunt, actively LMAO. at this rate im tempted to just buy one and have people come over and test on it for like $25, it would pay for itself eventually

snap a quick picture or two and we can better help with advice

thanks jon, glad i got in early and mine will ship out in the next couple of days out of curiosity, what size is the sample? 6x6?

On other words, with a 7.5" port that's 33" long, you should have 25.5" of inside port wall length(with one 90deg bend) if using a side of the box and front or rear as the outer port wall
-
Think of it this way, if your port was 3" wide, each 90deg bend would have 3" of length in the bend, then add the length of the walls for total length
-
Just measure down the center, even if it turns 15x, keep measuring down the center and you can't mess it up

you guys are pm'ing about something for trade since december, i doubt its still available without an update
-
top notch design and quality of build, looks great man
-
dont go prefabbed bro, lots of good advice/information out there to build your own, specific for your setup box
-
thanks guys. unfortunately, none of the shops in my area(at least the 5 that i called or go to regularly)have a termlab so looks like its gonna be some garage testing on whats loudest to my ear and will hold for those few seconds. looks like a case of fuses might be in order haha

Changeable port is gonna be the best way to go if you also plan on listening to it in a daily setup
