ok. so after looking at all the different woofer choices and my budget, i decided on just going with 1 dc xl 15 and putting it with a aq2200. no for box size should i go with recommended form dc's website or should i go a litte bigger? what frequency do you think would be the loudest for this sub?

2 pretty SA 12 D4, wired on a nice well known budget amp. So you have a rest of 250 $ for nice 0/1 gauge wire for power, ground and BIG 3, some fuseholders and ANL fuses (1 fuseholder and fuse comes with the amp, and some wood for the box. 800 $ spend im buying a aq2200 for 350 from a local guy. but i dont know what sub to get... The SA´s are still a good idea them can take a lot of power. yea i would look at them if i was going to buy 2 12s and i don't think an sa15 will do.

thats not bad, doesn't that exclude box, wire and all that? you can get a nice sub and amp for 800 yes that is what i will spend on just the sub and amp.

what kind of music do you listen to? you looking for spl or sq? trying to make the most out of the space you have? rap, spl, and yes its Trunk bass. but seats will be down and having subs and port firing at dash. id say 2 12s in a box tuned nice and low. if the trunk is NOT sealed off, ALWAYS face the subs and port to the rear for way louder bass. what do you mean by NOT sealed off... like id the seats couldn't go down?

15 and my electrical is all being upgraded

Ive been looking at subs and amps for so long. I was looking at a dc lvl 5 with a aq2200 on it then when i get more money i can stap another one to it, but its already hard enough getting everything i need t run that. So ive decided on just getting 2 sundown sa 12 with 1 aq2200 . and with the extra money i will save im going to do some sound deadening. ive seen people getting 145s with the sa 12s on music. And i really didnt want to go all out because i leave for army basic training next year and don't want to have a badass system wasted when i leave. What do you guys think? good decision?
