My car is completely different then the mustang. And the parts that are for mustangs won't work for my vehicle due to space and have the computers and everything is setup

I have a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis 2 valve 281 4.6L V8 and I want to put a cold air intake on my car for increased gas mileage and performance. What's the best system that's available and fits my car?

I have a 2001 Mercury Gtand Marquis 2 valve 281 4.6l V8 and I want to have an exhaust system put on it. I was planning on getting the Stainless Works headers with the hi-flow cats and having a custom catback system built and installed. I want either an H-pipe or X-pipe but idk which is best. I want a mix of performance and gas mileage. Also I want to know which mufflers would be best? I want it to be loud when accelerating hard but fairly quiet at idle and start up so my neighbors don't get too mad at me. So if you could help me out I'd appreciate it and I'd like to know your reasoning behind your answers/advice. Thanks
