  1. I saw the helmet on the guy, but I failed to see any kind of roll bar or cage which is required if he wants to actually race the truck(judging by the time and speed class he's running). A good official would have let him make his one fast pass and once realizing it wasnt up to safety spec, make him park it.

  2. It sounded healthy. If I was in the Vette, I would've been worried about sleeper status. 11s in the quarter are no joke. He was geared SUPER low With a wicked stall too. Trap speed was like 114?

Edit- Mid 11s will walk most any vehicle on the road.

  3. Its likely that the EBP isn't really great for that particular sub. The EBP refers to Efficiency Bandwidth Product and is calculated by Fs/Qes. If this number is 50 or less, sealed us the optimum environment for that sub. A range between 50-90 and the sub will work well sealed or ported. 90 and above you're looking at a ported enclosure as being most effective for that sub. Typically if a sub is good in a sealed box, it will also perform well in a well designed 4th order bandpass.

And since you aren't running the same motor as the Level 5, you don't have the same T/S specs.

  4. Dude, they JUST came out. It's gonna take a little bit to start seeing them come around. These subs are built for brutal lows by the way, not the meter. Not to say they won't meter well, but they are not a tight gapped SPL type sub. These appear to be built for musical, low hitting preferences. They said an SPL version will be to follow in the upcoming months.

  5. I downloaded this on my iPad a few days ago. There is a tone generator, wiring diagrams, enclosure volume and simple box building program. It does not allow for Round portas, however there is a section where you can calculate round port tuning and it will give you desired length. You have to know a little about enclosure design though in order to get it to work for you, you can NOT be a noob to enclosure design. All in all, it's a good app for the Apple market, one of the best I've seen so far. Well worth the $.99 in my opinion. Any questions about specifics of what the app includes,PM me or whatever and I'll let you know if it has what you're looking for :)
