  1. Alright, so i have a Sony XAV-72BT deck, a 4 channel amp and I just bought 2 Fi ssd's and a crescendo 2000 amp.

So the deck has Front, rear RCA outputs and 1 rca jack out for the sub out. So i bought a 2F1M rca and hooked up the sub amp to the sub out, and then used a 4 channel rca for the 4 channel amp. There is 1 remote wire which i spliced into two and put to both amps. I have my Fi's wired down to 1 ohm and i want to set my gains using my multimeter.

THERE IS NO SOUND. I put the multimeter on the speaker outputs for my subs and theres no voltage. theres no sound if i hook them up

Both amps do light up and turn on. My 4 channel plays music but i Cant for the life of me figure out how to get my subs working. Ive tried putting an set of rca's from the output on the 4 channel to the cresendo.

Im fuckin hooped. help me out eh?

  2. I have a mac so I cant use torres....... :badmood2: I remeasures and need the width to be 35''... if anyone wanted to put that stuff into torres and post a pic here... :peepwall:

So you want to run the aeros external from the box to the rear deck level?

Yes exactly. I want the end of the port flush with the rear deck. Will I count the entire port length for this or just the port inside the box? and is this a legitimate way of having the port.

  3. Hey, so i have a 05 civic sedan and i want to put 2 12'' lvl 3 dcs in the trunk. I want to do subs forward port through the rear deck, although I have never built a box with a cylindrical port yet. I was wondering if the shape of the box really matters or I can just get my volume and put a port in. I wanted to do 3cu.ft. net volume. tuned to around 35hz (open to suggestion)

Also does it matter how much of the port is outside the box? because it will be poking out a bit to make it through the rear deck.

This is what I came up with, is this a good diameter etc? When I put in a 4'' diameter the length was 6 inches so that didnt seem right.

This wedge will be rotated 90 degrees. The subs will be parallel with how the seats lean back

any advice would be greatly appreciated. I made this thread quick so if i missed anything let me know.
