Texas Tech replied to Texas Tech's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Well right now i got T302 with P2's but i am going to go with maybe 2 T1's, definetly 1, so depending on if i go with two or not is between the T1001bd amp or the T500-1bd amp . then i am going to have a T400-4 amp for speakers and tweeters and i am going to probably use the T3002 for 1 sub and some speakers also The sad thing is, ia hve the money, i ahve been saving up, but i dont got the time. OFcourse with teh new alt will come the big three and a new battery -

questions about alternators
Texas Tech replied to Texas Tech's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
okay so what about excessive amperage? They said the max is 200 amp alt with direct bolt on, does direct bolt on mean just keeping the alternator int eh same place and bolting it to the same place the stcok alt was bolted to. -
I have questions about some alternators, so basically i am looking at excessive amperage and iraggi.I can get both for around the same money and they both are 200 amp alternators. When you say 200 amp alternator, that means 200 amps max, so it is capable of doing 200 amps but after that yuor alternator will be messed up(i dont know how to say it i duno what happens to it) Alternators arent over rated or anything are they? I just want to make sure that what i get is what i need, 180 amps seems definetly enough for my system. I am not sure how much my cars electrical components will need, someone said around 10-30 amps i duno.

i played socom 2 all day everyday untill the cheats came in and people were literally flying across the map and were invincible. Me and my friends were in a top 10 clan on GB. those were the days. I heard Socom 3 sucked cuz you had to be stealthy. I liked just going out and shooting in socom 2 (cept for like fox hunt and maps like that). I had a lot of fun on S2...

when you guys have fiberglassed, have you ever sprayed the area you are fiberglassing with adhesive spray or some type of glue, then put the cut out fiberglass mat on it?So it will get it shape and it wont move or anything. And then start applying and dabbing the resin.

so go take a piece of wire and connect it inside the REM input and then take the other end of the wire and put it in the + battery terminal of the amp, and if it turns on then my headunit is screwed. I have thought about replacing my Remote Wire but, the amp turns on and off, randomly, and everything is secured, including the remote wire. But i will check thanks for the tip man.
-
check if its a constant 12volts when you have the headunit on. so play the music and see if i get proper voltage at the amp? Will do. whats the remote output of the amp.
-
i duno i mean it is possible to have a defect. I think i am going to jsut buy a whole new set up though. A t1, P8002, new headunit that has ipod capable. I know the Battery and ground wire touched, but will that ruin the wires, i am going to put in a new fuse on teh battery inline though. I am going to build the box tho, i have to buy a router first though.

yea its all wired right, i didnt have any problems with my otehr RF amp, and i even rewired that amp when i upgraded to 4 guage wiring. Then i got this amp and i duno. ..
