The guy needs ur help guys dont get into a arguement over nothing. Help the guy out
My man Just sand the resin to ruff it up a little to get the second coat to adhere to your first layer this will also help smooth out the second layers and make it a lot easier when you are ready for final sanding.

i have done the same to my durango and the torgue went up and the gas mileage was a lot better i could put in in went from 14 to 18 to the gallon by doing this u take away a lot of back pressure off the engine and it breaths a lot better i have passed all smog inspections as long as the Cat. is still there and the O2 sensors are good you have no problems in that area

Most 5.0 stangs have good torque and pull decently at takeoff. Check the Mass air sensor. It may be dirty and sending false readings.
What year cause some are speed density sensor 89 a back....88 in california....
i have to agree with SAC on this it sounds like a false reading from the mass airflow.

damn if it does that with the little playin with it uve done and the subs still have plastic from the box on them, i cant wait to hear it after a week or so of chicken drivin it around
don't think Chicken will be driving it around to much with the weight and the gas prices like they are.
Hell soon as its put into drive the gas hand will go to E the engines going to tell him "what the fuk u thinking" LOL. J/K its going to really be sucking gas for sho.
leave Steve Alone so i can get my Daily CHicken Porn Fix. Steve get back to work......Work man work.......Looking DAmmmmmmnnnnn Good. I am truely amazed at its turn out . Again Unique Whips has nothing on you, nor does West Coast Customs.

Actually the car is started off of the battery then is transferred to the alt. And you can't take the battery out when you have the car started because the electrical system works in a loop the battery is part of that loop. Take ur alt to autozone and let them check it.
You can run your car with the battery out, after starting it its not good for the Alt. to do this but it is a very fast way to test the Alt. to see if its working correctly.
The battery is only there to start the vehcile and at as a voltage storage to be supplied to electrical system.
KWP if the lights aren't dimming with battery is removed then it may be a loose belt or battery maybe going bad on you start with the belt first.

i wouldn't do it if you plan on running ur system on a daily driver. will kill the amp. if you are competing then a 3-5 sec. burp at 16 volts won't hurt ur amps (fingers crossed).
honestly go with a 16volt amp and 16volt battery isolate the system from the cars systems to prevent any unwanted problems

Exactly right. Sometimes bracing will cause destructive turbulence. Well what I should say, all bracing adds turbulence but some may not be noticeable at all. Some might totally kill your airflow, eg. if you put a big 2x4 in front of your port it won't be doing any good.
i 2 figure that 2x4s would hurt. which it does you can use the all thread rods they are round and has less resistances. and works way better than any other method. you can also add glass to the inside of the box to seal it off and 45 the corners as well (inside the enclosure)

the dog nipped you, telling you (you don't walk into my house without saying hello to me first azz, take this next time u will remember to say hi to me first).
its a common thing with dogs that wants attention they want to be acknowledged as being there. I have pits and rotties that nudge and nip me if I don't rub or say anything to them. It can be a bad thing at times as in your case.

that is fresh, mad skills,on them keys

steve you need a couple signs saying construction zone hearing protections required within 75 feet. post them up so the neighbors see them and hammer the hell out of the hoopty
-
you want the cap as close to the subs amp as possible placing it after the second battery is best. you don't have to have it supplying ur amp for the highs at all kinda pointless.

I have a question about using my L7 in extreme cold. Is there anything that I have to do before I get loud with it? Let it warm up or something?
Thanks in advance,
just play them at low volume for a good 5-10 mins 2 warm the voice coils.

Going in a Grand Cherokee. Last box I had was 41 x 25.5 x 15. I can make the height and depth acouple inches bigger though. Port was 21 x 15 x 5. So the one Chamber and One port design would work best?
what yr grand Cherokee? the reason i'm asking is i have one as well I'm building a box for 4 T2 15s my build has my box around 19 cft 40 x 27.5 x 18

get distro block that has 4 gauge in and 2-8 gauge out and have anl 150 amp fuse on the 4 gauge. then run the 8 gauge out to both amps you will be fine.
its best to do as dmanson stated as well as myself a few post back

EDIT: Its kinda embarrasing to have a coworker walk in and catch you trying to hump the computer screen.......

I don't know what size it is I goign to have to take a look at it. I think he probably running 4 guage if so ill get a distro block that will have 1 4 gauge in and two 4 guages out so I can hook the amps back up. Ill check on the fuse too.
The best thing if you are going to have 2 runs of 4 gauge is to have 0/1 off the battery into a fused distro block, then have 2 runs of 4 gauge back to both amps.

Hey guys I have soem questions that need to be answered before I install an amp for my buddie. He has a power acoustik amp 540 max on his mtx audio 12 and he just got another amp probably different wattage but some brand that he wants to hook up to his highs. I have isntalled subwoofers amps before but not highs amps. I don't know yet if he has outputs on his amp or if he has anymore on the headunit, so I can run rca's for signal. Can I just run more whateva guage he has from the sub amp to the high amp so it gets power or what. Then how would I set up the gains.
i wouldn't run power wire from one amp to the other like that. it needs its own run from a distro block or from the battery back to the amp. with a seperate fuse. if something goes wrong (not saying it will) but if it does you wouldn't know where the problem lies if the amps are sharing the same fuse.
how big is the run of power wire for the subs amp?
what size fuse you have off the battery onto the power wire?
