  1. **************.com now has a Facebook too! They are really starting to get busy on huge discounts! Anybody else have advice on improving the design, layout or operation of the site? The more feedback the better! Thanks
  2. Anybody have 6 deep cycle batteries they want to off? Donate to the Resurrection? haha
  3. This little car is fun! But the 6 Deep cycle Batteries it has, the deck, the vt's, and the suicides, dont like getting hopped 30+ inches in the air when on Nitrogen... So the bottle is coming off, and some slower valves are being put on it. Trying to make it actually enjoyable to hit switches when your IN the car vs. just standing outside so you dont get you ass/back broken. haha
  4. Looks like those 2 Hx2's are getting reconed my Forevrbumpn! And then going into my girls accord. They will be getting replaced by a fresh recones pair of audiobahn AW1208t's. these will also be reconed by forevrbumpn! Cant wait to here them fresh!
  5. This thing lays frame up front, and lays bed in the rear. It has a custom, one off 18g bed to enclose the custom tube frame, and a 2 link lifting on are cylinders. 8 Gallon tank 1/2 Valves AVS Switchbox Old School yellow/black Memphis mids and highs. All of the rest of the old audio is going bye-bye. but it will have a single din deck, 2 7in screens, and a Morell 10" Much more, but i cant remember right now
  6. So we picked up this "Gem" A while back and its finally time to get her back on the road! Its going to take a little bit of time, because I'm only working on it a few hours a week. Enjoy!
  7. What do you mean? Its only 1 part each day. But that's what makes people jump on it. Because you NEVER know when you well see it pop up again.
  8. Wow, look whats going on! ******** Approached us about helping them start up their new company. So check out the New Automotive Group-on-style website!!
  9. Ditching the Torsion Bars up front is easy, just takes a little time and patience. The brackets are about $60 The bags are about $170 A 5 Gallon tank, 4 valves, 480 Compressor, psi switch, some form of controller, Etc. Its not much cheaper doing just the front, but your over halfway done when you start the back All of the management is done, so its just plumbing up your rear bags, deciding on you link kit, and start welding! Good Luck! And feel free to ask ANY questions!
  10. Here is a vid of my buddies civic with my old system. 2 Beat the crap 12" HX2's (one with a hole in it and one missing the dust cap. In a very well made 5+ cubic foot ported box. Tuned to about 30HZ Audiobahn A2300HCX Extra Battery in the trunk upgraded to 4 gauge and 0 Gauge thru-out the whole car 170 Amp Alt Basically this system was just thrown together with misc. parts around the shop. More Vids soon to come
  11. Thanks Numatik! Im Hoping to get on here and stir things up a bit! Get some more activity in this section. And soon I want to partner up Street Metal With SMD. But at the moment, the partner Package is a LIIIIIITLE out of my Price range.Haha Hobby- Good luck on you build! Dont be afraid to ask any questions. We are all here to help!
  12. So now im thinking that i want to do an isobaric T line with the Hx2's...
  13. Looking to try and find some of the old School Fosgate 8" HX2's. I cant seem to find any anywhere! Not even on EBAY?? Help me out guys! Ive got $$$ ... well, a little bit of it. Haha
  14. WOW!!!! This One little 8 Does some Pretty Good Damage! But how would it do in a larger Cabin? Hmmm So 2 8's...
  15. Is there even a way to design a T-Line that can do Sub up, Port Back? I havent seen a single one yet.. I wouldnt mind using some Hx2 8's... other that the whole "size Matters" thing. Im not knocking on 8's, i just dont want to do all of this work and not be happy with the sound ya know?
  16. I know... that's why i am thinking about using the 10" Hx2's.
  17. This will be my first ever box/system Build. Planning everything out, instead of just throwing things together and trying to make them go boom boom shake. Im working on a little 1990 Civic wagon. 94 Integra GSR Swap (out and being rebuilt) B16 Tranny 75 Shot spray Slammed as low as I can go, And still not nearly low enough. 15" ICW Black Tuner wheels (will be gone as soon as I can find something deeeeeeeeep for Cheeeap) Full wire tucked e-Bay Battery Relocated to the Trunk 170 Amp Alt Ebay HID kits (Hi/Low) And no form of Tunes at the moment... :-( My plan for this car is every ricers dream: Make it as light as possible As fast as possible As cool looking as possible And as loud as possible!!!! So with that said, I want a nice amount of Bump in the trunk, that takes up as little room as possible. Plus id like to remove it easily enough when going to the track. Im really interested in doing a T-Line Box. But I cant decide if I want to do 10's or 12's... Money is always an issue, and i only want to do this once. I have a buddy selling a few 10" Hx2's and I want to know what is the smallest T-Line box that can be made for them? are they good candidates for a T? or should i look for something else? Im not going for competition, but I do want to be as loud as ppossible for a cheap a possible, using as little space as possible. (doesnt everybody? haha) Last but not least, I would like to have the box be subs up, port back. And Im not sure how to do that with a T-Line, without taking up my whole trunk. Any and all help would be appreciated!! Thanks !!!!
  18. there is a downside to airlift struts. They don't have a bearing at the top mount so the strut is trying to turn with the wheel. This is a problem I am tring to address on my Cruiser right now. WOW! In all the years that I have been Bagging, Beating, and cutting things up I have never had this obvious problem addressed to me! And now that I see it, it makes perfect sense. Time for a Little R-N-D ;-) Thanks for pointing that out to me!!! Learn something every day now dont we!?
  19. A pair of 480 compressors will only set you back another $400 or so. Or even a little 380 pump is only 160.00 Trust me, you really want a pump. It sucks to be stranded without air.
  20. Air Struts for your ride aren't the cheapest things on the planet, but they are worth every penny! Airlift sells a Bolt on Set of struts that make is stupid easy to install. It will take you longer to run your lines and wires then it will to install the struts. With air struts the car rides really well, once you learn how to set it. If you roll to low it will be squishy. but too high and it will be stiff and bouncy. As long as you find your happy medium then you will be fine. What Other questions do you have about Air?
  21. Nice Ride Bro! Looks like a good starting project! Good to see new people getting into air! First off there are a few things I would change right away. (If it were my toy) The Viar 450 Compressor is only a 150 Psi Pump, I would switch that out to a Pair of Viar 380's or 480's. They are 200Psi Pumps, and are 100% duty. Plus you can run 2 and still keep your stock electrical system. And that dual pack comes with a nice little 165 on/ 200 off automatic Psi Switch Air isn't like juice. You don't need crazy alt's or batt's to keep you system up. Just a nice Fresh OEM alt' and some decent gauge wire running to them and you good. With air, Its not all about volume, its about psi. Yes you need volume to fill the bags, but you need Psi to lift. If your running 1 5 gallon tank with a pair of 380's or 480's at 200psi, I can guarantee you will NOT have ANY lifting problems. (unless you have a pinched line, faulty valves, ets) Now if you have a leak, the first thing to check if your fittings. What kind do you have? Compression or push connect? There is a large debate about push connect vs. compression. Compression fittings are a pain in the Ass, But you will NEVER have a problem with them once installed. Not leaks or anything. Push connects are very easy to install. But also take a chance of leaking/ popping out. My 2 cents is stay away from push connects. Spend the extra time (and Hassle) in the beginning to save your self the trouble of ending up on the side of the road! I Hope this information Helps you out! Any questions, PM me!
