So what's an amp I could get. I don't Iate money for a sundown or rockford so don't even mention them.

What about the 5500 watt amp then?

It is supposed to put out 2200 watts at 1 ohm so does that mean it most likely puts out 2000?

Would a power acoustic bamf 4000 1d put out 2000 watts rms for my 1 ohm dvc fi btl? I looked at the owners manual for the amp and it said it does but I just want to make sure. It also has two speaker outputs and I don't know if this makes a difference for the ohm load? Thanks,

I already have a 3K spl but it won't run on that for some reason.

SO to run an amp at .5 what would I need? just a good capacitor or would I need a better alternator?

Yes they are and thank you because I don't have 1 or 2 grand to spend on a rockford or a sundown amp.

If one is pushing more power than the other then one of the voice coils is going to be working harder than the other one which will cause them to die a lot sooner than they should. Get an amp that pushes out 2000-2500 wrms at 2 ohms. (unless you have the electrical to back up .5 which i doubt you do) What for amps, brand?´Maby you can strap the amps.
