Sounds like the Sundown 200.4 might fit the bill. And its cheaper than the Audison LRx 3.1. No overheating problems with the 200.4 ??

Ok I respect your guys opinion and right now Im thinkin about pullin the trigger on the SAX 200.4, but WHY not go with the Audison LRx 3.1k 3ch amp with a dedicated D class for my sub, wouldnt that be more efficient ??? Audison opinions ??

Do you believe the SAX 200.4 would be a better choice than the Audison LRx 3.1k 3 channel amp. I have read in other forums that people were having engine noise issues with the SAX-200.4 but that could be installation error.

Actually my mids and tweeters have xovers on them so I dont need them seperated, as I just send a midrange signal to them and let the xover sort it out.

Oh and a few of you mentioned 5 channel amps, if so what brands would you recommend ?? Thanks

I appreciatte all the input from you guys. I have been around car audio since the 90's, and was sponsored locally. I have always looked at the forums and read a multitude of posts and it just dawned on me...hey why not get some input with this decision as Im sure some of you have had experiences with 4 channel amplifiers at some point. I have always run 2-3 seperate amplifiers in my installs, but want to simplifiy my system with one 4 channel IF POSSIBLE, last thing I want is an underpowered system as I love bass. If I didnt post in the right area, SORRY !! Also wanted to give Steve Meade a shout out as it seems this man sure has alot of credibility on the street as well as on line, which is one of the reasons my first and only stereo post was on this site. Thanks for all your ideas and welcome more to come.

Looking to downsize from two amplifiers (subs & highs) and go with a more simple system. I will be running 4-6" mids, 4-tweets for my highs and gonna go with two 12's for subs. Already have the big 3 ungrade in place with extra battery so voltage supply wont be an issue. Looking for input on a strong and reliable 4 ch amplifier to power my whole system. Heres where Im stumped, which would you recommend: SUNDOWN SAX-200.4 FOSGATE T1000.4 CRESCENDO C1000.4 ***HELP ME OUT GUYS WITH ANY IDEAS AS ITS GOT TO BE POWERFUL*** (I AM LEANING TOWARDS THE SAX-200.4)
