if the box is shallow enough i can run about a 60 inch width haha

like when i say loud i wanna be heard around a corner before im seen coming around the corner, i know its hard to do so in a reg cab but still lol

power will depend on the subs its a 1992 chevy k1500 with a 350 5.7L v8 with some performance upgrades i deffinately dont plan on running any more than 1500 rms or so

stock electrical and im running 4 quage wire but ima upgrqde the wire when this is put in

i was thinking maybe 2 l7 10s behind the passenger seat with and external port behind the driver seat. nothing is set in stone yet though lol

whatever can stay in that budget and fit about a 35-40 width and a 6 inch top depth and an 8 inch bottom depth and will get really loud lol and i dont really care about sound quality

Ok so i know its a lil ways away but my dad said that he would throw in 700 bucks for my truck subs and amp for Christmas. I need to keep my driver seat pretty much all the way back but i can lose passenger leg room haha. I can run about a 6 top depth and 8 or 9 bottom depth. What would you run to get it loud? and i mean stupid loud haha. Thanks, Colby

yeah go name brand, lol i have a soundstorm 800.2 hahah one channel for my kicker comp and definately doesnt do rated, i just needed some amp to throw in for right now

check on having it rebuilt im planning on doing that and the people giving me the name of the guy to have rebuild mine said they had theirs rebuilt for around 1000

ok thanks man well ima prollby build the box and tune it to 32 herts and hook the amp up and everything just to hear it, then have my local audio shop set my gain and what not. Thanksguys for all the help! and hahaha was that really yo girl?

input voltage from my deck is 2v so what does this mean? lol and what ismy best way to set the gain without buying a device to set it,and is 1700 rms gonna be too much to send to that sub? sorry for all the questions.

So if i put the brz1700 i should run it full tilt with gain all the way up or whatever once the sub is broken in?

I was thinking a hifonics brz1700 and wiring it at 2 ohms, which will be using 1200rms but i was gonna turn the gain down so it wouldnt distort. I need headroom right? or what kind of power do you guys think i should run to it?

so if i want a 2ohm load i need the dual 1ohm then wire it up
