I brought a set of Stinger Pro 4000 series 6ch 17f rca's today I am wondering if they will sound better than a set of Sony xplod ones I have the only reason is that the Sony ones look better and my amp will be mounted on the box so cosmetically it would look better. Will I notice any audible difference between the two. Thanks in advance

Or I could run the amp safe and underpower 6 subs rather than risk killing the amp and over powering 4 subs, I

Sonic wired at .5 it Wouldent see a .5 load more like 1-1.5 ish and also it would be at 2 ohms most of the time just .5 for fun times and demos, butnindiddent box rise was that bad.

Um i can clamp it and the box will be 8.5 Cubes before sub and port displacement, The sub specs reuire 2.0 before displacement Im just not keen on running the amp at.5 cause i dont wan to burn it out.

Clarion WQ-3010d dual 4's 500w rms CEA Compliant

I want to run either 4 or 6 12's I have a saz-2500d ad all my family and friends think I'll ruin my car, I will fully sound deaden my car but I'm actually curious to see what you guys have experienced? Oh and I searched this and couldn't find any info :/

I currently have a saz-2500d and 4 12's I'm not keen of the .5 ohm option my subs can only take 2000w rms together they would be killed at .5 ,so what power would I expect at 1.3ohms to 6 12's?? It sounds like a good idea to me I'll have an extra batt big 3 and a mechman 220A alt any more info you guys need? I'm curious

Good news got this from mechman, Hello, I can build a 220a bolt-in large case conversion for $549 + shipping. Includes 2-year warranty and adjustable voltage. Is that what I would need ??

And I am very worried about voltage drop as a plan to run my saz at .5 ohm cause my woofers are dual 4's and I have been told to do this I need a strong electrical system so if I were to just run batts which I won't now anyway I would wire it to 2 ohm until I get a new alt.

My car is a nissan pulsar hatch 1999 model 1.6L 4 cylinder, I am not sure of any models of nissan that use the same motor there may be one but I couldn't find any info, and as a response to the people above I have some knowledge to this question but I like to hear other opinions and this thread as an example has been very helpful so far

Yeah i have i havent seen any, I just emailed Mechman to see what they say about the issue cause i would love a 250-300A one but it doesent seem to be an easy find at the moment.

My Theory Is to have enough batterys to last long enough for me to go out for a bit and then charge when i get home. I could make a rule to not let the batterys drop below 12v, I wont have it full all he time just for short periods when i am showing other people so i am wondering if it is completely frowned apon. And also i mean that the 4 batts will be completely seprate so not connected to the cars electrical system just in the rear with all the rest of the system.

I am currently building my system, I have 4 12inch subs and a saz 2500d. I cant get a H.O Alternator for my car so i was wondering if i can just put in like 4 big batterys. How long would 4 last at moderate volume before the voltage dropped too much. BTW my dad runs a battery buisness so sourcing batterys and chargers is no problem but i want at least a coulple hours worth, Or at least so i can charge them every couple of days is it possible?? I plan to run my 4 channel off my car electrical, So just the Saz 2500d would be on the 4 batterys. Thanks In Advance Daniel.

That's looks nice man what drivers you putting in it??

And will 1 or 2 extra battery's be good??

I am planning to run mine at .5 ohm I want solid power flow to prevent my amp burning up.

What??? Haha

Can someone have a lurk of the link to tell me of its decent??

That's good I'm happy now This is it http://www.nationsstarteralternator.com/250-Amp-XP-High-Output-Alternator-for-Subaru-p/13645-250-xp.htm It does a min of 150A at idle and 250A at 1800rpm I don't know much about alternators it seems ok.

Hey I'm installing a sundown SAZ-2500d I can find a 250A alternator. Will this power it I require 2000w rms I am planning the big 3 and add 2 battery's in the rear and 0 2 runs of 0 guage and dual 0 adapters for the amp. This the best I can do will this be ok?

Yeah well 5k sounds like a good break in haha

Anyone??

Anyone??

Well I can install android software on my iPhone and run an app if it's really worth the hassle what is the app called for android??

I know this would of been asked before, I searched and nothing came up sundown tests came up but it dissents contain the 2500, can someone post the results or a link to a post with the numbers Sorry if this has been posted many times
