i blew my older models, sent them in and they sent me back these 08 models, they are in my truck right now off a zx2500.1. The day they get bought is the day they come out, so it's up to the buyer to determine how used they are.

Bad times financially are forcing me to sell these. I got 2 Kicker L7 15s here. 08 models. They have been used for a week and will continue to be used until sold. They are dual 2s, will be shipped in original box, no paperwork, and no warranty though. $140 each plus shipping. My zip is 70777 if you want to figure out shipping (weight is about 40lbs). I'll take new pics when I take them out shortly but here are the pics of them new:

the accomodation priceing was 360 if i believe so yea it's a good deal esp. if it's new

thx and I do understand what you are saying and take your advice seriously. I will be doing A LOT of measuring and thinking on this. But I've seen 6 15s, 8 12s, 4 15s etc. all fit easy in a full sized truck. I've heard all three setups and everything about them is loud. You could feel the bass 20 ft away hitting you in the chest. That's the kind of shit I want.

deep south is what i think they mean. he's got the state record in sb4 and mod 1001-2001 (i think) for mississippi. Which considering he has some pretty major competition from bobby (6 15in mojos and 6 memphis 2400watt amps) his truck was loud . . . . i couldn't breathe in it and that's enough for me but honestly loud full size trucks are few and far between (too many crx, mini trucks, and vans around)
-
also I want this baby to be able to hold it's own in SB4 USACi style, so I may be moving to a Z1 per sub I've heard several setups I like 6 15s, 8 12s, 4 15s. But there is just something about looking at the expression on someone's face when you say you got 4 18s. Then you point to your vehicle and they see a truck and their jaw drops another inch.

Well I got the itch and the only scratch is OBSCENE BASS! I recently had the opportunity to sit in the self proclaimed "loudest truck in the south". Bret has a full size ford with 4 DD9515s and 2 M3s wired at .25 ohm which normally does SB at 157ish. Him along with several others are talking me into DD and I've had several shops make me some pretty good offers on DD. TO THE POINT: I have several different people give me opinions on what I should run, number and size of woofers wise. Whether it be DD or DC is of no concern right now, however this is what I'm looking at: Either 8 12s (dd3512s or dc lvl 3) or 4 18s (dd9518g or dc lvl 4)? This would be going walled off in a 2000 Silverado Ext. Cab (layin frame ) I've had the people with CRXs tell me 12s and the people with full size trucks and suvs tell me 18s. I personally like the 18s but because this will be a daily street beater, I like the efficiency of the 12s. Now just for the sake of knowing I will be starting off running a zx2500.1 per pair of 18s (or per 4 of the 12s), then moving to zx2500.1 per 18 (or per pair of 12s)

Ls7 In My Silverado
Tub Asko replied to Tub Asko's topic in Engine and Performance - Anything for that couple extra horses!
GODFATHER CUSTOMS FTW! "Hi Chris, I can offer you pretty much everything you would need to do the swap with. I sell the entire LS7 engines, transmissions, rear axles, all the accessories to complete the job. You would probably need to have motor mounts made and have your drive shaft cut down or replaced. I do not currently offer a twin turbo for this swap, but I do offer the ProCharger supercharger system. If you have any further questions please let me know. Thanks, jason [email protected] " -

Since this will be a daily driver I want to maintain SOME hint of fuel efficiency. A 630 big block will just throw that idea into the wind, hit it with a shovel, and set it on fire. I'm currently talking with year one, truckin, and a few others trying to get some ideas set out. -
I was wondering why the photo's of the venom wouldn't come up. Found out why:

I've always been a fan of the supercharger, but after scrapin and watching the diesels race (big mofos running 13s on the 1/4 mile) and burnouts, the sound of that turbo spooling was enought to make me cream in my pants Twin turbo may be the route. -

Would you drive a truck with an ls7 and 4 18s in it I would edit: I will look into the LS1 and you are right, with the money saved, I could easily through a supercharger, among other things, on it and work it out. -

edit: disregard my nubness I will look into other engines but I think the LS7 would be the one I want I'll try and call up jegs or some perforamce shop to see what kind and amount of work I'll be looking into. I'd hate to lose the airbags but I guess if you have an LS7 in your truck, who would care about bags? haha -
This is a long ways off, but this will happen one way or another. Strait to the point: I want to put an LS7 in my 2000 Silverado. It won't be my current 4x4 silverado but I'll be getting another in a few months. It will be a 2000 Silverado V6 2wd. I don't know much about engines and what not but I want to kind of get an idea of the cost involved in doing such a major modification. I know I will basically have to replace everything (tranny, cooling, suspension etc.), but I don't know what all I would need to replace and upgrade. Can you guys help me out to get an idea of what I'm getting into. Btw, here is where I'm getting my idea: LINK Also of note . . . this truck will most likely be bagged, have a wall-o-18s, and 24" rims. It wont be for the strip, but none the less . . .
