I didn't want to fool with cramming 18s in the truck (I can't believe I said that). Much easier to double/triple baffle a wall of 15s and have plenty of room. 2 DD Z2LVs done right should put plenty of juice behind those subs. I hope . . .

I think these numbers are right: Z2LV puts out @ 1 Ohm 1% THD: 4000wrms on 10volt, 5000wrms on 11volts, 5800wrms on 12volt, 8350wrms on 14,4volt. And the efficiency is 81%

I hate to sound nubbish but there really isn't much info on these out there. I want to get 2 15" lvl 5s (eventually 4) and run a DD Z2LV to each pair. I want to make sure I get the power to them they crave and not undercut them. Will that be enough?

It's time to let this bad boy go. It's going to be a while before I can get bass in the new truck. Too many other things in the way of that. Question: When you get the DC lvl 4 subwoofer and get the Lvl 5 coils . . . does that automatically make the woofer a D1?

I have run into a speed bump (not literally although they are a problem). Do any of you know a creative way or hell a good way of fabbing up fenders for the front wheels so I don't drown out my engine when it rains? Any input would help me along nicely!

Since my other thread was mostly about the Silverado I'd figure I'd jump over here to a new thread. I got my truck last Friday and a few friends came over to help work on it. Eclipse CD7200 MK II 2 Eclipse XA4200 2 sets Eclipse SC8365 2 sets Eclipse SC6900 (for now) Powermaster Batteries 240 amp alternator Kicker Wiring (hyperflex, rcas, speaker, etc.) Of course there is a LOT more to this but that is the overview.
