ok my two 18" btl's are walled in my ext. cab on a single Alpine mrp-2000. The subs are getting roughly 1100 a piece.. For a noticeable, but yet inexpensive gain would it be better to try the epicenter or sell amp and get a new one or get a second Alpine and run each at 4 ohm (~1500 @ 4ohm). dual 2 subs btw..

seems to be opposite... for instance, "white girl" has the nice low note that pounded with my old amp. now it like seems to just "rumble" on that note.

*dual 2's my fault. and no its not continuing to play after, the subs are just off beat, even when i wired it to 2 ohms.. but they didnt do this with my Alpine mrp-2000 amp (with the subs wired at 2 ohms). it did this right after i put the new MMATS on them

ok i got my two dual 1 BTL's wired to .5 ohm on a MMATS 3500.05 and it get loud but is (out of sync) almost seems.. on low notes it is bad! almost seems to be popping back and forth. any suggestions?? thanks! and even when i turn the amp down it does it after turning the volume up.

im not trying to necessarily make it a "v.s." thread, just see whats a better deal and the pros and cons.. that all

ok so whats the actually difference in the two? besides price.. looking for something to drop lowww. i know the build is everything (for the most part), but my enclosure will let it drop. Just need to know how these subs do in an ideal box

ok i currently have two 18" Fi Q's. im looking to upgrade (spl wise). i can get the DC XL's two for $700 used w/ new baskets and reconed.... or just buy the BTL's loaded off FiAudio for normal price and shipping (around $1200). I WANT NO BIAS answers! obviously they are both great so what im a gaining from either? {{15^3 box ported to 30 hertz in my ext cab. and looking to power these off either one DC 3.5k or Crescendo 3.5 both @ .5 ohm since i have they juice for it}}

can anyone try and conquer phil collins- "in too deep". its a great song that would be awesome with some 30ish notes in there
