  1. I have two JBL 10"s right now in there with their proper dimensions. Im going just for 1 15. Thats why i didnt really want to go with 2 12" subs. Didnt think id have enough room for proper dimensions.
  2. As far as mids, and highs for the front and back. I already have Polk audio DB series speakers throughout the whole car running off a 400x4 amp.
  3. Right now just factory alternator and slightly bigger battery than factory, id have to go check and the car isnt here right now. Its brand new but im limited to how Big of a battery i can fit in the car. Its hard to find a high power battery thats small. I could always run a seperate battery else where in the car.
  4. How would something like this do? http://www.audioque....ifier_p_31.html http://www.soundsolu...Subwoofer-.html plus a nice box.
  5. I have a decent h/u for now. i already wired the car with 0 gauge wire, ive just never had a decent amp and sub in THIS car.
  6. Looking at that link im likin the SSA zcon series. Didnt know i could get an 18 for under 500 thats 2500 rms. But do i have the space for that lol
  7. Anyone have any problems with RE subs? My cousin runs 1 RE 12" in a camry and it drops. Amp budget is probably about 400, but a little over wont hurt i suppose. Like i said, moneys not to big of an issue. I can find the money if its worth it.
  8. Budget depends. If i just do 1-15" im willing to spend a pretty penny on one nice sub. If i do 2-12's obviously that cuts the price of each sub in half compared to a 15. Im not looking to spend anymore than 600 alone on speakers. Btw, This isnt going to be my first setup. Far from it. Ive been stuck on small setups and hand me down setups for about 2 years now. I want something of my own that will hit. Im not new to it, i have ideas on what speakers im looking at but id rather get a couple "professional" opinions
  9. So while i got the money, im looking to put a system in my camaro. I posted awhile back but never made a decision on what i wanted. I ended up just putting 2 15's in my brothers truck and never worried about mine. So im back and looking for ideas. I got the cash now so thats really not an issue. Recommendations for possibly a 1-15" setup or 2-12" setup. Its a 95 camaro so remember trunk space is limited to the hole in the back. Im going to need Subs (brand/model/link) Amp (brand/model/link) Box (Any builders?) Im clueless on tuning a box. My goal is to have a system that will WOW you but not competition worthy. All input welcome!
  10. Im just looking for something to push these and not overheat. Not worried about it being an amazing amp.
  11. Yea, i didnt do much research on them. I was happy with how they sounded in the audio shop so i grabbed them. I just realized why u said dual now.
  12. idk if u meant Dual as in the brand or dual as in 2. But they are JL audio 15w0v2-4. 4 ohm subs, but i got them running +/+ -/- then bridged on the amp. would that not be 2 ohms?
  13. The amp is supposed to be 1000 watts at 2 ohms. thats how i got it wired right now, but it just wont hold the power. The amp over heats, and draws way to much power. The volts on the truck drop to about 10-12 sometimes even lower if its a longer bass note
  14. Okay, so i finally upgraded from 2 12" dauls in a bandpass box with a 580 watt dual amp. I upgraded to 2 JL audio 15w0v2-4 15" subs. Only problem im having now is finding a good amp to power these, for cheap. I tried a local walmart and grabbed a 1000watt sony xplod for shits and giggles, and it made me giggle on how hot it got lol. After 2 minutes of playing it shuts the amp off from heat. Any ideas on a decent 1000 watt amp for under or around 150? The audio shop i got the subs from recommended the JL audio 1000/1 for 349.99 but thats a little to much. BTW this is in a 98 GMC suburban and they hit amazing.
