Sealing it off from trunk will cut down on rattle and keep sound in the cabin...why wouldn't you want it sealed off from the trunk?...I mean you don't build a wall blowing backwards right
i do want to seal it off from the trunk, that is how my current box is and i like it like that best. i may of worded what i said last wrong sorry

What's holding the box to the baffle wall? Or is it just sitting there? If that connection was air tight it would sound 10 times better. But your woods to thin any way and is to weak for heavy bass. It won't last long if it was sealed right imo
dude that box is 3/4th mdf...?? and the baffle is sitting there in the picture thats just the face of the box we were testing the fit... and it is ported. its a 4in aero port 6 inches long and the wanting to build im not looking to keep the aero port style but it will still be ported. and i like sealed front better than ported. it sounds better in this car. that box is solid. i will be double baffling the front of the next box tho. and fiberglassing the inside, so the next one will be even more solid.

Hello guys, i will be getting some skar vvx 12s very soon and will be building a new box for my trunk, i need some ideas /specs any tips that can help me out i am happy with the first box i build for my 2 10inch type rs but i want this one to be better and sound better, they will be powered by a crescendo bc2k and it will be sealed forward here are some pics of my present box. the car is a 03 cavilier

Jpagan was a great seller all the way through, set my pictures of him boxing it up let me know when he went to ups to ship it and when the guy said id get it and game me the tracking numbers and was very fast respoding. all in all i would buy something from him again=] thanks jpagan for the awesome deal on the crescendo bc2k!

does b stock get the free box lol? jk im really considering buying the d4 12s, how big of a difference is the d2s and the d4s?
Same sub man, just the D2 can be wired to 1 or 4 ohm and the D4 can be wired 2 to 8 ohm, someone correct me if im wrong.
i thought it was 2 ohm can be down to .5 ohm and 4 ohm and be 4 ohm or 1 ohm, maybe im wrong

for 2 skar vvx 12s? i would assume i would need to be a little bigger and tuned lower like the 28-32hz area?
