  1. i got everything all fixed. my remot wire was shorting out at one spot in it. then the next day my amp started doing it again, i found that the ground i had was constantly shorting for some reason and had melted and corroded the wire really bad, grabbed another wire re-did my ground do a more secure location and hopefully it doesnt happen again
  2. thanks guys, foud the solution, took all my wires out completely, re-routed and wired everything and changed ground and changed speaker wire and remote wire. i believe it was a messed up remote. idk why my remote randomly stopped but thanks!
  3. i have a crescendo bc2000 and it was unhooked for a while and now when i go to turn it on the protection light blinks one time and then nothing. any ideas? thanks
  4. okay i dont belive it is the amp anymore, i borrowed my friends amp, whose is working and it did the same exact thing, my subwoofers just thump...
  5. thats what i was thinking, i just dont know how anything would of blow, it was working perfectly, unhooked it for 2 days then twent to hook it back up and it starting doing that.
  6. so i think the rca inputs on my amp have fried, i unhooked my amp last week to pull my box out and paint it and when i got back to wiring it back up as soon as it sees power my subwoofers just start thumping. i have a cresendo bc2k and 2 skar vvx12s, i have replaced the rcas twice since this still does it, i have changed the grounds 3 times, idk what else to test, the left rca input look a little messed up on the amp today i noticed. when i looking into it the black piece that separates the ground and the positive on the amp was not there so i pull that face of my amp off and saw that it had somehow been pushed back so i pushed it back into the input where it belongs, didnt help anything, anyone have any tips/suggestions ? thanks
  7. i have a cresendo bc2k and love it, they are reasonable priced to, and they can do .5 ohm im pretty sure
  8. thanks for saying that bc i didnt even know there was a google sketchup lols, ill try to make a sketchup right now tho
  9. i know thats not quit in ur measurements but maybe you can get a port idea
  10. this is for my 2 skar 12s soon
  11. check out craigslist for some equiptment, you can sometimes find steals there, otherwise pick you up a single skar audio 12 or and SA-12 those will be louder than two boss subs, grab a decent amp, perhaps the one you already picked, remember wire is not cheap either knukonceptz has good cheap wire tho.
  12. ill just let you know boss audio (and anything from walmart) pretty much sucks... ive used a boss sub before it was terrible. you can build a budget system for a decent price with better equipment than that.
  13. i am running a crescendo bc2k at 1 ohm on stock electrical with big 3 and i havent gone under 13 volts... i will be getting some better batteries soon tho and new subs to run it at .5 ohms, crescendo makes awesome amps for a great price you should check them out.

  20. haha nice man! so 2ft per sub, 4 total, or 2ft for 2 together, so 2 total? and what 15s did you have and what amps? jw
  21. maybe, this is the first box i have built and its before i even started researching on this site and learning. the calculator i used said that it was tuned to 32 hz, i don tthink they sound bad tho, they hit pretty hard and sound better than anyone system ive heard around here, but people around here also have zero knowledge...
