Though I do think Solo X's are equally as stupid as L7's

I don't dread my computer entirely, but I'm getting annoyed by my HD 4850, it runs too damn hot, the drivers never work ever, and now it's starting to crap out when I try to play Need for Speed Underground 2, it just all of a sudden stops working, and resets my computer, and that's an old game.
Never buying Ati/AMD videocard products again

Budget?

Yeap scrapping sound sounds like coil rub, you're gonna need new woofers.

The amp is gonna be more efficient at 2 ohms then 1 ohms, which is very normal for amps, so electrical shouldn't be too bad but Big 3 is a big definitely, and 750 watts should be fine for the SSD, you're not gonna horribly under power it.
This is a very helpful tutorial on designing a ported box

And there's Torre's calculator topic as well for more details

You should build your own box to get the best results.
Battery definitely, they help alot more than a capacitor when needing extra power, or having to deal with voltage drops. Big 3 is recommended as well if you haven't done it.
You're gonna have to either wire that sub to 2 or .5 ohms, and I don't know if the MB Quart can handle .5 ohms.

Hmm, have you checked you connections, like your power wire, and ground?

Use deadener for that issue

what about the bass pressure would that make the glass rattle outhow bout how u put that plexi over the 360.3 or did it fit snug?
sorry, forgot to answer that.....the plexi is cut so precise, that once it goes in, past the leather in the corners, it "bites" itself into place. It has nothing but the fact its snug, and the corners "snag" just right. Its hard to explain. It is upside down 99.9999% of the time and so far, it doesn't budge. Plus, my little pick-tool can get behind it and pop it out with a little pull in a few spots. It actually does not fall out but is easy to pop out if you need to. Win!
Since he sealed off the box very well, I don't think the bass should go to the trunk at all.

And this is why I hate Florida sometimes :/

I'm sorry for the loss of your Uncle D:

I always enjoy jamming to Pink Floyd on one of my drives.
Edit: To OP, you're a lucky man, I wish I had Cornwalls

Not a bad deal, even though you should build your own box to get the most outta those type x's

Designed correctly, a ported box will sound better than a sealed box, but a sealed box is very easy to design.

I always find it a bad idea to use 2 different amps for 2 of the same subs, even if they are rated at the same rms. I think it would be easier to just sell both amps, and get a 2000 watt rms amp to power both of them. and not worry about equal power distribution, and less wiring of course.
-
I was thinking that a 270 alt would allow you to have 3240 rms on a 12 volt system or 3888 rms on a 14.4 volt system safely.

This saddens me, kids today are just a bunch pieces of shit raised by bigger pieces of shit who forgot to teach them manners. Whatever happened to "Respect Your Elders", that poor lady was defenseless against those bunches of kids, and they just kept going at it.
When I was growing up, I was taught to respect my elders or at least those who were older than me, and I always have. Parents today need to stop being "friends" with their kids, and start being parents, I know when I used to do something stupid, my parents would do something about it like either take away my TV, Ps2, or something like that, and I know I used be damn scared of my dad yelling at me when I was little when I was misbehaving.

I dream of a demo from either the IS-F or the Tahoe, but too bad I live in Florida. One day maybe.
Steve, your wiring skills are over 9000

Yeah, either way will sound good if properly installed and setup right. I say 2 12's cause more cone area but who knows really.
15's response aren't as bad as some people make it sound, 1 15" will respond fast enough for ur rock music, it's mostly dependent upon the box you have it in..
2 12's would be louder, i'd go with that option.. but 12's and 15's produce slightly different sound so it's up to you
The sound of the sub is dependent of the box and a few other things, not the size
1 solo x 10 or 2 alpine type x 10s?

Honestly, I'd stay with the type x's, more cone area.
Though in my opinion, if it's not circle shaped, I stay away.
