  5. Replace the 9v battery, my DD-1 gets screwy(tells distortion with 0 gain) when the battery is low, replace with a fresh battery, no more issues.
  6. Appears to be an upgrade on the motor for longer xmax, and better quality terminals
  7. will a 9" be too much? Sound be fine, make sure to glass the sonotube for strengh
  8. I would also agree a single flared 8' port would be perfect of the pair of DC Lv 4 10's since the port velocity is there as well.
  9. I know a guy named Nic Watts from Jacksonville who's feeding an Everest 5k on each zv4 12, he has 4 zv4 12's on 4 5k's in a 4th order, and the setup is very musical. Those zv4's can take an ass load of power.
  10. I say CCA for runs because runs are expensive, and my wallet don't like expensive, and I say OFC for amps and speaker wire cause you only need a few ft for amps, and speaker wire isn't expensive. Both types serve a purpose, that's why they exist, yes I know Copper is more conductive, but is the extra cost worth it, not really when quantity is require. I agree with TeamHT as well I myself would put the extra work of doubling up the runs in cca instead of working extra hours at work to pay for the ofc because it hurts my wallet. I do love the fact you can 150 ft of cca for the cost of 50ft of ofc, and have it transfer more current.
  11. 40 watt rms total below 1% thd AD-1 can do 110v amplifiers?
  12. Yeah, ask Mike, if he can offer a 300 amp alt that can fit in the Accord, you won't need to have so many batteries, and being a fabricator is a good advantage.
  13. Is 200 amp the biggest plug and play alt, or biggest alt period? You asked Singer about a bigger option that may bolt on, even with some metal fabrication, and external regulation?
  14. Yes, the x-line is mean't to destroy the lows, and have good sound quality.
  15. I'm happy for your son Steve The Yukon looks in spectacular condition for being 12 years old, and having 180k miles
  16. Bought 50 ft of Sky High wire from him, shipped very quickly, and package arrived safely and quickly. Would do business again from him.
