So I blew my money on my subwoofer system thinking I could run a rca converter. Well I originally tried using an epicenter plus... Ya sounded like crap. Tried tapping off the door speakers tried after factory amp before factory amp right behind factory deck... Pulled my hair out. Stupid thing is, the sub would only sound correctly with the drivers door open. So would this hlc2 line converter be the way to go? The car is a 2005 corvette with bose. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah. I probably sound like a dummy... Its hard for me to pick one when i cant be there to hear them. People in my town do not know anything about car audio. They think wal mart crap is bad A...pshhh -
If you have the money look for a place that sprays kwikliner. I have sprayed bed liners and boxes for 8 years. kwikliner drys extremely fast and will cover about any imperfection and WILL make the box as air tight as you can get.

yeah, one guy suggested 3 10'' fi q's. man im a dealer for dd audio. but i do not have much experience at all with them to be honest. the 1500 series that i have used are loud no doubt but they seem to have a little bit higher boomy bass than i like. i would like something a little bit crisper. -

I have an spl competition coming up, I will be running two dd 1512's in my 92 camaro. Has anyone messed with the box design on these woofers? I know what dd wants. Has anyone done any tweeking to the port? I will be running a dd m1 amplifier thanks

What type of music are you going to be listening? major things on the dd woofers are the amount of box space you have to work with and true amplifier power.

I'll get picks up tonight, and as for engine mods I already have a 150 shot and borla exhaust. ready to put on it. It's stock and does a 150mph like its nothin. I'm wanting to get rid of the basslessness.

Aight, I'll get some pics up. I've been up to my neck in work at my regular job. I have some 1508s that nobody wanted brand new in the box. I also have a 1510 and an re Sxx 10 so I'm trying to weigh out the option and what would sound best in the car. Kind of worried about port noise.

I am a novice subwoofer and enclosure installer and am in need of some advice. I have a c6 corvette that I am adding a sub system to and i dont know where to start for a driver. I am a dealer for dd audio and re audio but i rarely get any bussiness in the small town im in thus i have limited experience wth different subs and enclosures. My problem is i listen to metal like mudvayne disturbed... and i listen to hip hop. I need a sub that can punch your brains out on kick drums and get low with bass drops. I am very paticular about everything and wanna do things right as this will also be a demo car thanks for any and all help- zane
