  1. So I blew my money on my subwoofer system thinking I could run a rca converter. Well I originally tried using an epicenter plus... Ya sounded like crap. Tried tapping off the door speakers tried after factory amp before factory amp right behind factory deck... Pulled my hair out. Stupid thing is, the sub would only sound correctly with the drivers door open. So would this hlc2 line converter be the way to go? The car is a 2005 corvette with bose. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

  2. what would be perfect sub or subs for dd m2 amplifier? nothing bigger than a 12

1st off. what car is it going in? Goals? Budget? Do you right electrical setup?

2005 corvette, 220 amp alternator kinetic battery. Want to do minor spl competing no serious competing, just something you love listening to

Sick bro. I would love 2 c a Corvette build. Wat about budget though so I can narrow down subs

$700 is my max on subs. I am kind of digging the ssa xcons... yeah i love my car and would like to show up some ppl. I know its know good competitor for spl. i want something you just cant get enough of the sound..

  3. I have an spl competition coming up, I will be running two dd 1512's in my 92 camaro. Has anyone messed with the box design on these woofers? I know what dd wants. Has anyone done any tweeking to the port? I will be running a dd m1 amplifier thanks

  4. Hey everybody, I just joined the forum today, but have been looking at it for a while now. Does anybody have feedback on the Digital Designs 500 series 15 (515b)? Or suggestions for comparable subwoofers? Any advice would really be appreciated!

What type of music are you going to be listening? major things on the dd woofers are the amount of box space you have to work with and true amplifier power.

  5. Aight, I'll get some pics up. I've been up to my neck in work at my regular job. I have some 1508s that nobody wanted brand new in the box. I also have a 1510 and an re Sxx 10 so I'm trying to weigh out the option and what would sound best in the car. Kind of worried about port noise.

  6. I am a novice subwoofer and enclosure installer and am in need of some advice. I have a c6 corvette that I am adding a sub system to and i dont know where to start for a driver. I am a dealer for dd audio and re audio but i rarely get any bussiness in the small town im in thus i have limited experience wth different subs and enclosures. My problem is i listen to metal like mudvayne disturbed... and i listen to hip hop. I need a sub that can punch your brains out on kick drums and get low with bass drops. I am very paticular about everything and wanna do things right as this will also be a demo car thanks for any and all help- zane
