  2. Right but im saying like how far should the port go back before it bends?
  3. I see. Now how much room should there be between the back wall and port wall?
  4. how can that be 25" long when the depth is only 16"
  5. With what port dimensions? Thats what Im trying to figure out
  6. yeah thats the max edit:im getting 5.5 from what kicker and other people recommend. I dont want it the max recommended size but I dont want the minimum either
  7. Lol well im getting really frustrated dicking around with this. No matter what I do I cant seem to get 5.5-6ft around 33hz with ATLEAST 70in of port area much less 80.
  8. could you tell me how much 2 l7 12s displaces?
  9. Okay, could you pm me the specs? Im guessing that with bracing and woofer displacement should be around .5
  10. So Im building a box for my 2 L7 12's. Its going in a 2002 Jeep Liberty so I was planning on subs up port back. My max dimensions are H22xW40xD16 with about 5 in of room between the port and back hatch. Im looking to build the box to 5.5ft^3 at 33-34Hz with about 80in^2 of port area. Im just having problems calculating my port size for the correct tuning and also finding the woofer displacement. Im planning on having the port horizontal across the bottom similar to this I would like help finding the right dimensions for the box and port. Im using Torres Calculator.
  11. I heard that the RDX series does not put out as much RMS power as the BB series
  12. Im looking for a good amp to power 2 Kicker L7 dual 2ohm woofers.I dont have the money or electrical system to wire to .5 ohm. The BB2400.1 is rated at 1600W X 1 @2ohm RMS. I just need something that puts out 1400-1600w true RMS at 2ohms for around 250.
