M1s will have a pole vent only and no gap vents.
so it is a m1 then I see vents under the spider though

ugh I hate mobile sometimes...Dang man is your windshield tinted 5% too? Also I'm tuned in for sure! Those rims look extremely good too!
Other than that you don't have any other tint on the windshield? I've played around with the idea of 5% on my front windows instead of 20% and tinting my windshield 35% I'm just worried about getting pulled haha.
Thanks man! And no just did a thick 5% strip. Just looks dark because not much light is getting in from the sides

Just forget about them Steve they hate because they are jealous, mommy and daddy won't give it to them, lazy, or are trolling. I signed up for this forum to learn I went from knowing nothing at all to learning more than I thought I would and I'm still learning now! I also sign up because of your Tahoe you have some of the cleaniest and sexiest builds I have ever seen! The escalade was a work of art oh dat blue paint made me drool! Just remember for every hater you have an entire forum backing you! I have people who hated on me when I wanted to get an 18 needless to say either they aren't my friends anymore or they shut their freaking mouths when they hear it. Haters gonna hate brotha! They just want what you've got trust me I wish I had a system of your caliber or at least hear it haha but it inspired me! You inspire all of us man but some just don't wanna work for it! Haters want handouts. Bass ain't free that's for sure you gotta pay to play! If it wasn't for you man I wouldn't have car audio as a hobby and if it wasn't for this website I wouldn't know where to start! Not only do you have crazy builds but you own and operate the greatest car audio forum on the web and consider all of y'all family up here! I'm running 0 gauge wire for power and ground. I'm getting a new alt soon too. Will update if this fixes it. Idling and playing lows gives me bad voltage drop.

Sometimes multiple grounds are the way to go.
EDIT: For your amount of power, I'd honestly have two dedicated 0 gauge earth runs.
So you think this may solve my problem? Well time to get in contact with toolmaker. Who got another good set of dual inputs?

I made a new ground and its doing the same freaking thing... This ground isn't lose either like the last one. I will mess with a ddm tomorrow.

I am grounded to the frame. Could it be a loose ground. I believe so mikelbolten tuned it with his dd1.

is the amp actually shutting off when this happens?
No I played it full tilt the sub cut in and out but the power light never went out on the sub and the protect light never came on. The power light did dim quite heavily when it was cutting out though.

You said something about turning up my ssf on the amp. Would this fix it? I can make a video if that would help.

So wouldn't the air leak cause it to free air haha. Its not the boxes fault its my stupid weak drill's fault haha.

Alert noob question... What is unloading? Well I kinda know what it is but could you explain it? Also how would I fix it?

I am back at school so I'll have to flush it up when I get home. I thought I had been hearing something though haha. The subsonic is a 50hz on the head unit I believe and the settings are all flat the sub level is +2 it clips at +3 when tested with the dd1.

The lights dimmed but could the sub be cutting out because of the air leak?

Its not going into protect... But I feel an air leak around the sub... I'm using a SD card.

Check your speaker wires? Maybe something is grounding out?
I have bolt terminals 8 gauge direct leads to bolts wired in parallel then from bolt 8 gauge to the amp. Could the bolts be loose?
Any wire grounding out can really cause it, not just the speaker wire. You should see if the amp is turning off/protecting on the lows.
About to go check that now that could be it...

What are you wired to? 1 ohm? Half? Check it with a DMM
And where are you reading your voltage from? Alt? Battery? Amp? Somewhere else?
Also what are the specs on your box? Have you checked the resistance of each coil individually? Check for an off-center coil while you are at it. Lightly push around the edges of the subwoofer cone - you should be able to feel the coil "rock" into the pole piece. The pressure needed to do so all the way around should be roughly the same. If one woofer does it more easily when you push on one side, that could cause it too.
And the only other thing I can think of is a loading issue - they tend to become much more pronounced on low notes from my experience.
